The Huntersville location has always been our home location although this branch was closest to where we lived and we were in there frequently. It never closed when the acquisition occurred and the only change was the changing of the sign on the door. Personal remained the same and services remained excellent. My wife and I went through the drive through about 2 hours ago. Same service and friendly atmosphere. One thing about this location, the one in Huntersville and the one in Denver is that if the Dog is in the car, chances out they are going to get a treat. Needless to say, Watson the Corgi left with a nice Dog Biscuit to munch on as we drove home. Made his day.

I have deposited and used my money continuously; however, they just charged me $7 for "inactivity." I was not sent a notice nor have I been sent an updated debit card to actually use this account, which is why I was only able to use this account for sending/receiving money from friends. I wrote to them this morning to just mail me my remaining balance and close the account. I'm hoping they are fair to those of you who actually have debit cards so that you can give them the activity they need to avoid that and other charges. They used to be so good to me when I lived there, but if you move they don't communicate with you and just do things without attempting to contact you. At least that had been my experience.

After I indicated I would move all of my other accounts from Wells, bank Manager, Sarah, said there was a time consuming "manual process," which would take an hour and a half to set up. The regional manager Rene was no help. I returned to Wells and got my money out. They could not have cared less. I moved my account across the street to Chase, who opened a personal account, then began my business account setup, and said, correctly, that the "member not present" forms were easily obtainable by my partners at any Chase branch. 10 minutes tops, no "appointment" required, no notary needed, they stayed after 5 PM to help me out. I left Wells after 40 years today. It feels like a good decision, they don't care for their customers.

There is usually a 5-15 minute wait whenever I go.) Every person I have worked with is kind, friendly and helpful. The are always able to handle any request I go in there with. Additionally, if there is a way for me to do what I am doing in a simpler fashion they will l advise as well. I appreciate their help as they have shown some ways to mobile do things and save time. I would recommend to anyone and just advise there can be a bit of a wait at times. A note to corporate about this location is that they need to do better sound proofing. The shape of the ceiling allows for echoing and throwing of voices across the room. Specifically, the cubicle with no roof on the left hand side when you walk in. You can hear the conversations in that cubicle quite clearly in certain parts of the bank. The team in the bank has advised corporate but corporate has not taken actions to rectify. If I was discussing personal information in this bank I would insist on using one of the offices with a roof.

Ended up at 5/3 after the local bank where I was doing business merged with another bank and then they got absorbed by a rather large and unresponsive regional institution :-( Big plus is Saturday lobby hours. Not that I'm in here banking every weekend but it's nice to have the option. Major malfunction is service charges on HSA if the balance is below $5000. So I get charged a fee and I will probably have to pay a penalty on the withdrawal because it isn't an actual health expense. nice... They don't know much and will answer a question without really knowing the answer or fully understanding the question. It is bizarre. I was trying to be super patient and proactive with something I knew I needed to change on my account in order to make a deposit recently. I first attempted to make an appointment for the change to be made and was told to come in through the drive thru that I could make the deposit with no problem. I get there with my documentation that I knew they should need to make the adjustment to accept the deposit. It was a very common business practice and they knew nothing of it. NOTHING. My last encounter was the last straw. I took my deposit to another local bank and opened an account immediately. I will be closing all of my OZK accounts, as this was the second time they answered a question about a very common business practice and were completely wrong. I do not like writing one star reviews but until that staff with knowledgeable folks, I'd find another bank to trust.
