The gentleman who did my intake was thorough. I saw the Dr. for about 5 mins, but he listened to me, provided feedback and could tell I was in discomfort and went over his plan of care with me. When I tell you I could have cried from relief after the experience I had with this team! I came in at a pain of 7 walking like a robot and left at a 5 feeling comfortable. I left with knowledge and prescriptions for how I could continue to feel better. Thank you Dr. Abasi, Nurse Haley and anyone involved. I know healthcare isn't commonly on recommendation but 10/10 would recommend.

But, the PA said they would give me a stronger antibiotic. Two or three weeks, I received a bill from LabCorp for a urine culture. I went to the clinic to explain the situation and was directed to call their business office. Three days later, a "medical assistant" telephoned me to say she would look at my chart and get back with me. After 2 1/2 weeks without a return call, I emailed a person in management at this business office. Without a reply for two weeks, I telephoned again and left a message. Yesterday , the medical assistant telephoned me, apologizing for the delay, stating she would visit the clinic and look at my chart. Today, she telephoned me stating there was a note on my chart, indicating a urine specimen was taken and sent to the lab. I am in shock and disbelief that Coastal Urgent Care sent a specimen in my name that I DID NOT give them. Beware, if they did this to me, you could me next.

Let me tell you how fun it is to travel for work when you're sick…read more After battling a cold and then hopping on an airplane, I started to feel like something worse was going on. Since I still had some travel left, I decided to Yelp an urgent care and make sure I didn't have something worse than an annoying virus. Patient Plus did a good job of figuring out what was going on. Once the physician's assistant examined me and listened to what was happening, he recommended a chest x-ray, which they do at their location. I'm always weary of urgent care clinics trying to push unnecessary procedures on you, but this one seemed to make sense. The chest x-ray was quick and the results were back five minutes later. They were also able to give me a quick breathing treatment which made me feel ten times better. The PA called in a prescription close to my next hotel's location, and even gave me a sample of the medication so I could take it right away. The entire appointment lasted less than an hour, which was wonderful, but I was the only patient there. The PA was great, but the rest of the staff was extremely lackluster. They seemed to lack even basic communication skills and just had an odd demeanor. I would still recommend this urgent care, but it was definitely strange. All in all, it's a reliable spot when you need some quick medical attention.
