I have come here 4 times for extensions. The quality of the extensions are good, this is true. But unfortunately the good points stop there. The owner is very eccentric - he is terribly loud and rude to some customers, yet fawns over others. Some he treats as royalty - others he frowns at. Every time I have been here I have seen him make rude comments to people, mocking their hair or clothes, or simply scowl at people, intentionally, to their face. He is a very odd man, this is true. His narcissism fills the place like an oppressive dark cloud. TV screens on every wall literally play commercials and interviews featuring him over and over (this is not a joke!!), in which he tries very hard to portray himself as rich and famous. The volume is turned up so loud you cannot make a phone call. Occasionally he puts on whatever song is his current favorite and sings it loudly (and terribly) for all to hear. He repeats this act with the same song every hour or so. This particular oddity has repeated itself on every occasion I have come here.
On a lesser note, the interior design is absolutely eye-melting. Almost every surface is a bright bubblegum pink except for the table tops, which are covered in rhinestones. There is an actual camera crew on standby in the corner (!!!!) ready to interview any customer he deems glamorous enough, in order that they give him a glowing, fawning review of his extensions. These will invariably be churned into new faux-commercials for further self-aggrandizement, which will then be added into the queue for replay on the television screens. This man is obviously the beating heart of the universe, and to step into his lair is to be reminded of this fact from all sides, at all times, until you leave.
If he could just decorate the interior with a bit more class and lose the atrocious attitude, the place could be truly great. As it stands, you will be lucky to leave without a significant headache and a deep appreciation for the patience of the employees who must endure the owner. read more
