Karen Lievense was so supportive during this time of transition, taking the time to understand what is most important to me, supporting my creative vision for my surroundings while offering honest advice on what was and wasn't working. Her design sense complemented my own, but her vision exceeded what I thought possible for such a small space. She never imposed her ideas, rather, we worked together to find the solutions that felt right to me and reflect my values. Karen was able to translate my large-home aesthetic into a space half the size, while still retaining my earthy but elegant vibe. The new, appropriately-scaled furnishings Karen sourced, and often designed, were perfect. I love my one-of-a-kind lamps, and the myriad pale blond hide rugs scattered throughout bring lots of luxe to a small space. Change is difficult. Karen's professionalism, mixed with kindness and understanding, made this transition fun and creative. I love my new nest, and the process of discovery it's bringing to my life.
