I was quoted $70 total, but when I came to pick it up (Dec 18) I was charged $1,284.49, including unauthorized parts and labor that I never approved or signed for. I was never given an estimate and I only saw the itemized invoice at the time of payment. Part pricing was also extremely inflated (same part numbers online were about $272 total, but I was billed around $695 for those parts). The front desk worker Danny Wooten was mouthy and unprofessional, and even said he was trying to "get this damn thing out of my hair" while refusing to address the extra charges. They also required cash only to release my motorcycle. I reported this through the Mississippi Attorney General and the business's response misrepresented key facts. I've had a bad experience with another "reputable" shop here in Starkville so I've been skeptical about shops in the area. However, A+ Auto is my now go-to shop for any and all repairs. I came in with a laundry list of things that needed to be checked and/or repaired on my truck. Not only were they friendly and made me feel like a valued customer the moment I stepped in the shop, they also were very prompt and responsive to any inquiries I made while they were performing the repairs. No vague answers about timeline to completion and what needed to be done. I dropped off my truck at 11:00 and they got back to me with all maintenance/repairs needed no later than 3:00 the same day. The gave me a very fair price on the total work done. Bonus points to them for getting the work done in an expeditious manner and having the truck ready for pick-up by 3:00Pm the next day. Congrats A+ Auto! You've earned yourself a loyal customer as long as I'm in Starkville. Any person in a similar situation as me, I highly recommend you give these guys a call.
