Fabio is fabulous- we have been going for a year now every month & can always count on consistent results & he keeps it fresh & is very detail oriented. My 23 year old son looks great each visit. Also the staff is always friendly & considerate. It is not a paparazzi salon - just hard working people who do a good job. read more

Brandon and Danny are hands down two of the best barbers. The shop has a clean, modern vibe and you can tell they take pride in what they do. Brandon and Danny is incredibly detail oriented, every cut feels tailored just for you. Highly recommend both Brandon and Danny if you want that perfect cut every time. read more

So I have been going to this shop for awhile now, followed them to their new location. It has a hip vibe but they won't force trendy styles on you. Whatever you do - do not ask for a cut by Jade. I wouldn't want her to get even more requested and be too busy to cut my hair. Already, with word of mouth, Jade is busy because she does such an excellent job. The shop is always clean and always busy. Go to their website and make an appointment in advance so you don't have to wait. read more

I asked for half an inch off the top and it's like they took a lawnmower to my head. Probably the worst haircut I've ever had.

I took my son here , Armando who is new from Ny cut his hair. Boy oh boy what a great haircut. He was such a nice guy and I must admit easy on the eyes .. We will certainly be back . read more

Excellent cut, great employees with an unbelievable united nation of clients. Harmony

First time here my barbers name was Pedro. At first he was nice and I told him I wanted a fade and to take an inch off the top. I asked him to fix the sides and even showed him a picture. He got visibly angry and was just taking the razor up and down without carelessly. I've never had an experience like this. If you want to cut hair, you should cut it the way people ask not the way you think it should look. His comments towards me were nasty and he didn't think I understood Spanish but I did and understood the nasty things he was saying under his breath. I do not recommend this barber if you go here. read more

My go-to barber was closed due to COVID-19, and I was in desperate need of culling the "quarantine look", so I relied on the word of a friend of a friend who recommended Starks Barber (p.s. and Yelp reviews). Now I can wholeheartedly recommend Starks, too. Overall: I had a great first-time experience at Starks and plan to return! PROS: the shop is conveniently located in Pineapple Grove, in a quiet neighborhood and with a few dedicated parking spaces. The shop interior is newly renovated, its walls stylishly adorned with modern images ranging from the artist Banksy to, you guessed it, a blueprint of Iron Man's suit (it is "Starks" after all). CONS: Not many to think of; one might be that masks for clients are optional, though the stylists are masked. I called on a Friday to book an appointment for the next morning, which was readily accepted. That morning, I didn't need to wait upon arrival. I was offered a complimentary coffee, which was a very welcome surprise. I was even offered a free rinse after the haircut, which was great because I had other errands to run and didn't have time for another shower. The environment was welcoming and modern. There were some retro (1990s) music videos playing in the background, a nice break from the usual news stations on repeat one encounters in many other barber shops. It's great to see a local owner take a lot of pride in his shop and in the customer experience, a mark you can see the moment you walk in the door. I'd recommend you give Starks a try. I'll be back again for sure! read more

Pedro deserves an applause! I walked in a boy and came out a man. Not to mention the amazing decor that made the experience far from boring. Definitely coming back here! read more

Alejandro sliced it up & did a fantastic job! I have a classic Mohawk that need some shaping, outlines & no fading. He listened, asked, cut & shaped exactly what I asked for. Plenty of other barbers will listen but do as they want to do, but he did exactly what I asked for. Cleaned up the facial hair & even did a hot towel facial massage. Highly recommend to book in advance & talk to your new favorite barber! Cheers read more

This is my second appointment at this Barber Shop. So far, they have been extremely welcoming and professional. As a gay man I've typically gone to get my hair cut at salons so this was my first time going into a barber shop because I wanted a "fresher" look. The second I walk in the front door I'm greater with a hello and an offer of coffee, water, etc. haven't waited longer than 5 minutes to be seated. Alejandro is my barber and he did this AWESOME fade / design on my head yesterday. I'm very satisfied and impressed with his talents. 10/10 would recommend to a friend read more

Jade gave me an amazing haircut today! My hair hadn't been cut in a long time and was very long and damaged. Jade made great suggestions, was super nice and delivered exactly what I was hoping for. On top of that, the shop was very casual, laid back and friendly. I highly recommend Jade, and will definitely be back. read more

When you step foot into Starks Baber co, you can tell right away your it's all class. Let's start with the obvious, this place is gorgeous everything from the floors, counter tops and barber stations is immaculate. It's always clean, and ready to provide you with the ultimate pampering experience, because let's face it, men deserve it too. The atmosphere is very inviting, with TVS mounted on the walls you can enjoy your cut and watch the game, or just enjoy some music. The owner Jason comes from years of experience and is a total perfectionist. Weather Jason is your Barber, or one of his other team members, they all have the same goal, to make sure you are 100% satisfied. Give this place a try, I guarantee you will be back ! read more

In need of a new barber, I found Starks on Instagram and really admired their work. So I booked an appointment with Kidy at 1. Upon arriving, I noticed how clean the entire shop was. I was greeted then offered water and coffee. Kidy was very friendly and professional. She asked what I wanted and gave me options during the cut too. I normally don't go for volume but decided to try something new. She was delicate and precise. I will definitely be coming back! read more

Went for a beard lineup and I actually ended up having to shave my beard completely. That's how much of a hack job it was.
