I had been a patient of Dr. Sisko for over ten years. He had done a lot of work for me, but his…read moreoffice never told me in advance how much his care would cost, even after I asked. I only found out when I got to the checkout desk I do not intend to see Dr Sisko any more as my dentist. On April 3, 2025, after I had a loose left side tooth in the left upper area of my mouth, he sent me to my trusted endodontists for a panoramic X-ray. It showed infection. Dr. Sysko removed the infected tooth and put in a drain to drain the pus as well as prescribing an oral antibiotic. He told me to use ice packs for that side of my face. My physician husband called his office and asked his staff to check with the doctor if use of ice pack as what he wants and they said they asked him and reported back on the telephone that, "Yes, this was correct treatment". During Dr. Sysko's procedure he told me he was going to use a special long-acting injection anesthetic which would cost another $450.00. The pain did not abate. I developed severe pain in the left upper jawline area which continued and worsened. It was the most excruciating pain I ever had! Of course I could not sleep at all. Two days later, in desperation, I went to an oral surgeon who removed Dr. Sysco's drain and put in a new one, higher up, to reach the primary area of infection. He sutured it in place with the strict advice of no ice packs but warm water to help the area drain. The oral surgeon said the ice packs were preventing the pus from draining. The treatment from the oral surgeon was successful. Now I was charged $5,400,00 by Dr. Sisko for the tooth extraction and the placement of a screw-post for the future false tooth and the complications of the suturing and drain and preparation for an implant. The oral surgeon charged me a total of $150,00 for everything he did. (And his office told me in advance what the cost would be!) Dr. Sisko does not call his patients after he does major dental work, and when I called him in the past, he never answers his "cell phone" nor does he have the office call me the next day. He never apologizes for any mistakes or bad advice or painful complications that may arise during his care. This was the second time I had such a problem. During Covid I had my jaw locked for several months after an injection to a molar. Although I understand that this can be a complication of such an injection. Dr, Sisco again did not show compassion, and I again went to the oral surgeon who gave me exercises to help alleviate the discomfort and help get me to open my mouth wider.

I am 85 y.o. and have been going to Dr Sisko for over 30 years. I started with him when my regular…read moredentist retired and the Dr that replaced him did just about everything wrong , most of what he did on both my wife and I had to be redone. when my and i changed dentist, we went to 2 different dentists, both of use are still with our new dentist. But we both had to have much of the recent work redone or corrected. Surprisingly the dentist that replaced our retired dentist is still in business. hard to believe, because his entire staff resigned within the first year . we met his ex assistant in a store one day and she told us why the staff all resigned .I don't want to say his name but he is located in north palm beach fl .one of his mistakes was when he did a root canal on my mother, it turn out he did the wrong tooth that was her first and last visit to him, she (like us found new dentist) and she stayed with that dentist until she passed. sorry for any misspelling i am a real bad typist and my machine moves words around when I make spelling correction, can't figure that one out.

On the day of my appointment, as soon as I walked in, the receptionist immediately asked for my credit card and held it. I was so confused. He saw my expression and said, "Well, how will you be paying?" -- as if I was going to run off without paying. Is it because I'm a minority? Huge red flag. RACIST. I clearly stated I didn't have insurance -- do you think I would come in if I wasn't prepared to pay? I felt cornered. I was in pain and desperately needed help with my tooth, so I gave him my credit card. He also held on to my ID. I filled out nine pages of paperwork. Looking around the office, I noticed they offered Invisalign. I laughed to myself, wondering how they'd even try to market that to me when I was only there for some tooth pain. Turns out, I was wrong. When I was finally called in, the doctor and assistant were nice -- but instead of actually trying to help me, knowing I had no insurance, they just took X-rays and pictures (without telling me the cost or asking me to approve anything). Then they tried to upsell me, saying "a quick fix isn't going to cut it" and that my bite was unhealthy -- and that I needed Invisalign. Red flag number two. In my head, I felt cornered again. I knew I wasn't going to get help for the issue I came in for. She just kept talking, trying to sell me whatever she could. I wanted to cry and go home. So I just nodded and agreed. She handed me a $2,650 treatment plan -- knowing I had no insurance. Then they charged me $265 for the X-rays and pictures without telling me beforehand. I felt trapped and said "okay" -- and then they ran my card themselves and only asked me to sign after the charge, when they returned my ID and card. I've never been treated like this at any other practice. I went home still in pain, and my husband was furious. Thank you very much for the heartless treatment today. This place is a complete waste of time -- RACIST, heartless, and only trying to upsell. STEER CLEAR. Unless you're rich and white -- maybe then they won't hold your card hostage.

Professional, thorough, educational, gentile and kind I would recommend this practice in advanced…read moredentistry

I am thrilled with my tooth health and aesthetic look! They really put the personal touch in things, and you never feel they are rushing to the next person! They have also prioritized emergencies/urgent situations all the time -- impressed with Dr. Ladakis, Dr. Amiri, Janelica, and Shenique! And the hygienist -- Christina--!! Awesome!!! Her attention to detail is fantastic; she road-mapped me and taught me how to take care of my teeth exceptionally! Daniel

Terrible billing, broken promises, zero accountability.Avoid this office due to their terrible billing practices. I had a crown and X-rays done in 2023, and somehow didn't receive a bill until September 2025. Unsurprisingly, my insurance denied the claim because it was submitted far too late -- despite being told the X-rays were covered. At my recent cleaning visit, I was blindsided with a $1,177 balance. The staff blamed a former billing manager and "negotiated" a deal: I'd pay $513 for the crown and not be charged the $664 for the X-rays. I paid the $513. Now, weeks later, they are trying to charge me the $664 anyway. This is inexcusable, unprofessional, and shows a complete lack of accountability. I walked out without my cleaning and will never return. Patients deserve honest, transparent billing -- not broken promises and decades-late surprises. Do not trust this office with your care or your wallet.
