After a week, I scheduled a visit to a chiro (not Banks) who immediately began "treatments". This doctor never offered a consult or took an x-ray. After two months of visits, sometimes twice a week, the pain worsened. Many nights were spent not sleeping and getting out of bed became a chore. It felt as if my lower back was severely tight and all twisted it up. Bending down to tie my shoes was beyond difficult. After one day spending 20 minutes of trying to get out of my car to go in to work; I knew something had to change! I googled, found Pinnacle and took a chance. Upon my first visit, Dr. Banks sat with me and provided an in-depth consult along with treatment options. I expressed my fears of being side-lined with chronic back pain; in which he reassured me he'd do everything he could to remedy the pain. After an x-ray and my first treatment, he gave me the best course of action and promised that within a month, he'd like to see my back at 100% with little or no further visits. I'm sorry but you can't charge someone $45 to do something gyms do for free for you and should be inclusive in the initial examination. They are not transparent in their billing at all and do not let you know up front what you will be paying. No matter how nice the staff and doctors, prices need to be transparent and fair. I would not recommend them.

The front desk staff is also good to deal with and everyone is very friendly there. So first thing - you'll go in, you'll get x-rays, and then you'll be presented with a plan if needed to help address your concerns. Stop right there. Go there for chiropractic adjustments but nothing else. I HIGHLY recommend you find an actual physical therapist to help you resolve your issues. Most people come in and are given a few stretches and a few exercises to do. You're then kind of just expected to work on your own, and do those things over and over and over again. The staff and the manager of that area are too busy talking amongst themselves to pay any attention to you. Even when they aren't busy, they won't put in the work. Or if they do try to tell you what to do, they'll just tell you to do the same thing over and over again because it's easy. Even though the manager and friends are too busy chatting to pay any attention to you, they will mark down whatever exercises you have done, so they can then bill your insurance for a "therapy session". Which entails you driving all the way in there, doing your one set of stretches, getting adjusted, and then leaving. It's a joke and people don't improve because there is no attention, no one looking at your form, making suggestions, helping you progress, or making any changes based on what you need. They then may tell you that you need braces, like for your back. The case manager will tell you one is $1,100.00. However, when you actually get the brace and google it, you'll learn that you can get it on Amazon or from other companies for $70 - $100.00. The neck brace costs $200.00, so you could pay for those without paying this team thousands of dollars to ignore you and bill your insurance for inappropriate amounts of money. I really hope this helps someone not lose that much money and find a therapist that will actually be able to help reduce your pain and heal.

After my latest appointment, I asked Dr. McMillen to suggest a decompression unit for my home use and he agreed to research some for me.
