Nice cups!
Maya H.

Everything is super expensive (but hey, it's Switzerland AND an airport), there is no specific wifi (the airport wifi is limited to 30m) and it's located right before the x-ray security check which also get ride of your liquids, so either take a seat and have a cup of overpriced coffee or forget about it, as you will have to say goodbye to your coffee about 5m later.

Expensive good coffee. The blueberry muffin tasted soppy. The service was ok. Many seats available but mostly occupied.

Starbucks - Iced White Chocolate Mocha

This Starbucks in the Zurich, Switzerland airport was really unique and interesting to me because…read morethey have a lot of different items on their menu compared to what I have seen at Starbucks' in the US. I ordered my go to Iced White Chocolate Mocha and tried a Red Velvet Muffin. I also ordered a Pumpkin Brownie in Austria, which was also sold at this location and shown in the photo of the display attached. The Iced White Chocolate Mocha tasted delicious, just like one in the US would, and the Red Velvet Muffin was a very unique flavor that I wasn't sure if I liked or not. It also had like a rice crispy texture to it, which I thought was really odd. The Pumpkin Brownie I ordered at another location in Austria was delicious, but very rich and a little hard. The cashier was friendly and I got my muffin and drink really quick. This area also had a ton of natural light and a good view of outside the airport. Overall, this is a good stop before or after a flight if you're in this terminal.

Very clean, very fast. I take one star off because Ms. Barista gave me a little attitude when I…read moreasked for nutritional facts. I redirected her real quickly, and she got on the ball right away. I won't put up with lack of customer service when I'm spending my hard earned jet lagged money. My wrap was to die for. I wish all Starbucks would start to make it and make it as good. Coffee was great and surprisingly lasted longer in freshness. I had a sip when I woke up the next morning. Of course it was cold, but tasted fresh. They need to have their own wifi. Wifi at Zurich airport sucks terribly.

Kafi Dihei - Hangover brekkie

Our first stop once we landed in Zurich on our 1 week Switzerland trip. The restaurant is…read morerelatively small and when we came around 9 am on a Friday, it was pretty full so we opted to sit at the bar countertop. My brother got a bacon omelette which he was not particularly impressed with and said he could make the same quality at home. I got the hangover brekkie which consisted of a pile of potato wedges smothered in cheese, a fried egg, 2 slices of bacon, a sausage, and herb cream cheese. This.... was so incredibly heavy - I love potatoes but couldn't only eat half of it. Part of it is because the chef puts the entire plate into like the microwave/oven once everything is plated so the cheese hardens too quickly and the potato wedges were mouth burning hot the entire meal. Even 15 min in, I was burning my mouth on them. The sausage also had an unusual texture and taste to it, I guess I'm used to American sausages but it just did not fit my palette. Also cream cheese is a strange pairing with this dish, something like ranch would have been better. The only redeeming quality was the bacon was perfectly crisp. The cappuccino Dihei was just the boost of caffeine I needed but when I read orange zest as part of the ingredients, I was expecting like finely grated orange, not a thick slice of orange peel hanging off of the cup.

I know this sounds ridiculous, but I got my first Bircher muesli here and it was amazing.... I…read moreended up enjoying tasty Bircher muesli the whole trip, but the one here was exceptionally good. They also had tasty coffee, which I appreciated very much. The cafe is cute and small and we ate on the patio. The prices were fairly reasonable for what we got.
