I went last week, and the manager was operating the register. He didn't seem very happy, but hey, not everyone is all smiles at work -- it is work after all. I visited with my friend, and as she was walking back with her spinach pie, she sadly dropped it right on the floor. This is definitely her fault, yes. The lady pointed to the manager and told her he would handle it in an offhand manner (although she was nicer later, so maybe she was just busy). When we went to the manager, she told him what happened and asked if she would need to buy a new one. He rolled his eyes, sarcastically said, "Oh no!" then deadpanned, "Yes, you will need to buy a new one," and that was that. While many other restaurants may offer to pay or offer a discount, we 100% understood it was her mistake, not theirs. So, it is fair that she had to repay. What wasn't great was the unnecessary rude attitude. Overall, I might come back if someone wanted to meet here, but I would definitely hope no issues come up that would require me to deal with the service. Beyond that, I wouldn't come back myself.
