We've been to this location before and had a less than average experience but they must have new management because this time I was created by no fewer than 4 people who not only offered to take my order but did so with a smile. While waiting they even brought my items directly to me. Wow is all I can say. I felt like they really CARED! The management appeared to be more experienced and business like. 324 N Belt Hwy St. Joseph MO horrible! Waiting 20 minutes inside to get 2 Caramel Ribbon Crunch & a Sausage & Cheddar Breakfast Sandwich. The sandwich was cold because it was just thrown on a back counter then to make it even better it had a blonde hair attached to the cheese on the side. The drinks tasted like cleaner. So needless to say it was a waste of money & time. read more

It's a Starbucks, so you know what you're getting in terms of food and drinks. I ordered a pretty simple cold brew this visit and was happy with the drink! Service was friendly, but extremely slow for a Friday afternoon considering they weren't that busy. If visiting, I'd plan for extra time if going through the drive through, plus the difficulty in getting in/out of this location due to the busy road. read more

I get my coffee at this location every morning in the drive through. I am always surprised at the speed and efficiency of the staff there. The store is always very busy in the morning but I usually don't have to wait very long and I always get friendly service, and my order is always made correctly! read more

This Starbucks embodies why I was anti-Starbucks for a few years--slow service, baristas who didn't care, inconsistent drinks and food, bad layout due to cramped space. I've been to this Starbucks a handful or so times over the years and I've never walked away truly happy with my experience. One time I waited over 15 minutes for my drink (turned out they gave it to the wrong person and didn't even compensate me with a size upgrade or anything like that), another time I got stuck waiting over 10 minutes to get my car out of its space because the drive-thru line backed up all the way behind my car, and another time after they asked if I wanted my toddler daughter's cookie warmed up and I said, "a little bit," we got it scalding hot. There are two other Starbucks on this stretch of road (including one in a Target). You're better off trying those other locations, if not another (preferably local) coffee shop. read more

This is the WORST Starbucks in existence. The drive thru is always incredibly slow and they are ALWAYS out of at least 3 to 4 items on the menu every single time I visit. Today they were out of all frozen drinks, all cold drink items along with several food items. They claim it was due to the storms in Texas. Not sure about that, it could be true, but they are out of items every day....during storms, great weather, day, night, it does not matter, they are sure to be out of something you desire. If I could give this store 0 stars I would. Don't waste your time or your money going here. I have learned my lesson and now go an extra 5 miles to the store at Belt and Cook, they never disappoint. read more

To make it worse I simply asked if there was a price difference because why would I pay for something I didnt order. The female with dark hair yelled at me across the store about it. The location isn't too bad, but the access in and out of here in not optimal. It took quite a while to get anything. They were pretty busy though. My breakfast sandwich was out (very sloppily) minutes prior to getting my coffee. The staff seemed nice enough, and everything else seemed regularly. Yesterday I ordered egg bites from Starbucks. It was really a busy time and for some reason they disappeared in my car. They gave me a second one and when I got out of the car later that night I found that the bites had slid between my passenger door and the seat - kind of tucked under the seat! I just called them to figure out how to pay for those and they said it was on them. I have never in my life felt such disrespect from a barista in my life. A dark pixie haircut woman ruined my experience. I sat at a table that wasn't marked and was kicked out. They took 30 minutes to toast a single bagel, and didn't give me the right one. So sad to see a business I love disrespect a loyal customer. Surprised to find a Starbucks here so thought we would try it out. It is the first Starbucks we had seen that had a DRIVE-THROUGH, so we followed the sign and got in line behind a few cars. After about a five minute wait, we got to the window to order a few Americanos and were rudely told that the drive-through was for orders already placed. The signage and the customer service both need some major work. Desperate for coffee, we parked in the lot and got our drinks inside. For an Americano, it was quite weak tasting, but not bad. Still, the overall experience was sub-par, even by Starbucks standards. read more

Very disappointed with this Starbucks. I was in line there last Friday morning when they handed me out the wrong size coffee. When I told the girl that they made the wrong size, she took it back and ask for more money. I had already waited a good amount of time in line and then got charged more to wait longer. I'm sure the long line behind me didn't appreciate it either. When I finally got my Venti I raced to get to work by 7am and when I got inside the coffee was not even made correctly. I called the store and told them I wanted a refund on my 7 dollar coffee that was made incorrectly two times. The girl said I would have to go back into the store to get the credit. This Starbucks is the WORST one I have EVER been to! It's slow,inefficient, and the bathrooms were disgusting! I went to a barista and asked for toilet seat covers, she gave me an attitude and was like, " If there aren't any there, then we're out" ummm excuse me but I know you're suppose to take inventory...wouldn't your general manager notice...next, my husband ordered and it took them 15 minutes for our coffee even though there was only 1 person before us. Why? Because despite there being 5 workers,they worked inefficiently. The woman taking to go drive thru orders was also making the in store drinks AND manning the register....Learn how to talk to customers properly, run the store more efficiently so your drive thru isn't backed up, and keep inventory of toilet seat covers due to health! read more

Drove 10 miles off my route to get here, then they only put on shot in my tall Americano. What a let down. How is that even possible?

They most certainly do NOT open at 5:30a. Had to go into work early and they were not open as late as 6:45a. This has been the only Starbucks with this experience. I luv Starbucks but this location is exceptional & they are efficient & friendly & when I've waited "too long" they didn't charge me. That doesn't happen often but it's nice for a large business (especially a chain) to value the customers time & not just their own even when it's not the fault of the business. Typical Starbucks when it comes to layout and coffee, but this place was messy and unorganized. On the plus side, I tried out one of their new signature teas (black tea, infused with mango), which was quite good. The downside is that the place was a mess. In the walkway to get to the bathrooms were boxes of product that hadn't been put away yet stacked at least waist high, making it tight for even one person to get through. The area to add sugar, grab napkins, etc., was a bit dirty/sticky as well. While things happen when you get busy, this was early afternoon, the place was not busy and there were at least 4-5 people behind the counter. Sure it's a Starbucks, so I like the coffee, but if lived in the area I wouldn't seek this one out. read more
