When rating franchises, especially the large ones, is important to rate them on a standardized system. So like it or not, I rate franchises at 5 stars by default and then they lose points. For me the only differentiating characteristics between Starbucks are the following:
Wifi: outside of coffee, we all come here for meetings, to work, and wifi off course. To be fair, no Starbucks in the Philippines offers unlimited wifi. It's either none, or one hour (but I think they are printed with a Telecom agency) - there is no WiFi here at all, -1
Service: how not unfriendly are the baristas. They are friendly here, no stars lost
Space and cleanliness: Lots of space and cushioned seating, no points lost
Noise and business level is not rated, because you know they are always busy.... that's how they make money and can become as successful as they have. No completing here.
Overall? A nice Starbucks, would visit again but only if in the area and not to work. read more
