Funny to read the two other reviews rate this Starbucks poorly...and 6-7 years later this location is still run horribly!
I was very hungry and tired after landing in ORLY in the late afternoon. I wrote a horrible review about ORLY in general, and unfortunately, my 1-star rating extends to the establishments in ORLY...
I thought I could stomach a nice, sugar-fied Starbucks flavored latte after bracing immigration, but I lost my appetite once I got in line. While in line, I spotted something that seemed redeeming about this French Starbucks---a collection of vegetarian and vegan cold sandwiches. I picked up a "Pesto Toastie" and naively thought things were looking up...
Once I got to the register, I took a glance at the pastry selection and the Millionaire Shortbread (caramel shortbread) slice stood out, and I thought that would pair well with my sandwich for a decent airport meal.
There was a young man (I assume who was new since the cashier was telling him what to do step-by-step) who didn't understand when I asked for Millionaire Shortbread despite my pointing, and when he finally understood, messily packaged it so the chocolate topping was completely smeared.
In the land of so-called optimal culinary presentation, his action was a shame...
I asked for a replacement bar and he obliged, but with a bit of attitude.
Ah, Paris. You can never catch a break...even at Starbucks.
As for the food - the toastie should have been warmed (thanks for not asking guys!), but at least the Millionaire Shortbread tasted good (they should offer this in US Starbucks!) read more
