I ordered a spicy tuna sandwich, which was hot (temperature) and had some spiciness in the tuna mix. The bread was a whole grain, rather flat, but very tasty, and overall it hit the spot. They were out of the nitro cold brew, so I just had a normal cup of coffee. It was a perfectly good cup of coffee. Having finished that I felt ready to travel.

The surrounding cafe tables and seating are quite nice, stylish and well decorated. In true Swedish form, it feels sophisticated and comfortable without being over the top or garish. Even the airport cafes have style, it's true. If you are arriving from outside the Nordics, this is likely your first "sticker shock" moment -- yes, everything is expensive. I asked regarding what they could offer me to be gluten-free as they do offer a range of sandwiches - once I asked them questions about the bread for example if it was seeded (I don't like seeded bread and I wanted to make sure it wouldn't be the same as Taste of Scandinavia nearby) they ended up telling me they had no gluten-free bread in broken English. The juices are a little overpriced but it's an airport and compared to the rest of Arlanda it actually works out good value - costing around 12 SEK more for a fresh juice compared to a regular drink, the size might work out smaller, however. They did have a decent selection of juices on the menu, but again the staff even lacked knowledge of what was behind them in regards to if they could add something to the Cold Brew for example. Considering how many stores I've seen from this brand around Sweden, especially compared to back home in the UK where Joe's only tend to be in department stores like Debenhams and John Lewis it was a let down - a slightly generous rating with an extra star just for it is one of the nicer and slightly quieter places in the airport's largest international terminal. 2*
