Strange that they don't have a milk fixings bar, and that they only serve milk behind the counter, no 1/2 & 1/2 otherwise, the baristas are friendly and there is plenty of meeting space, and lounge space and table exterior. read more

worth a visit! my…read morepartner is a coffee connoisseur and loves a good drip & pour over. we narrowed down our searches on both google & yelp and seabird coffee kept popping up. we walked over to the shop which was a little hard to figure out how to get inside, but once we did it was beautiful. it's a tiny shop with a small menu, so we ordered a v60 pour over & a vanilla latte with almond milk. our drinks were delicious! the pour over beans were a true medium roast and it was tasty. overall, highly recommend! the two people behind the counter were very friendly & helpful!

I perused their menu, and decided on a latte for my caffeine boost. I also got an iced lemonade, due to the hot weather, and an bottled mineral water. In a rarity for me, I also got a donut. My buddy got an iced mocha, which he said came out pretty good. I could tell that our drinks and pastries were made with good quality ingredients. Their offerings are standard to what you'd find at other coffee shops, and their pastries are similar to what you'd expect to see at a Mexican bakery back home in LA. There is plenty of seating in this place. There is indoor seating which is perfect to get work done on a laptop, or to sit and chat with friends. There is a large outside patio in the back, where my buddy and I sat for a few minutes before carrying on touring the city.

We decided to stop into this coffee shop, as it is located right next to the lot in which we parked. The coffee shop is small, but we were able to get a table nonetheless. Their menu seems small, but I assure you, their drinks are worth it. I opted for an iced tea, and my buddy got a mocha. I got a pastry as well, and munched on it while the baristas brought us our drinks. The pastry was pretty good, I could tell that they made it with quality ingredients. My tea was delicious, while my buddy's drink was strong. The vibe in this coffee shop is relaxed. It looks pretty well hidden, away from the main avenues in the downtown area. However, it is a good find.

We came here for brunch on a Saturday and even with a reservation, we waited about 10 minutes…read morebecause of how busy it was! With that in mind, I strongly recommend making a reservation in advance on OpenTable if possible. As for our entrees, I ordered the Omelette Light, which unfortunately did not meet my expectations. The panela cheese came in some cubes (looked like tofu cubes), but I was expecting that the cheese would be more infused and melted into the omelette. Overall, I enjoyed the tomatillo sauce but I still felt like the dish lacked some additional flavor. My partner ordered the Chilaquiles Richi, and my only piece of feedback would be to cut the ribeye into smaller pieces (vs. long strips) so that it's easier to eat with the rest of the dish. We decided to share the French Toast Lotus, which ended up being my favorite dish! The salted caramel cream complimented the lotus ice cream well and there was a good ratio between the fruit, sauce, and French toast -- a flavor explosion in every bite! As for the service, it was a bit slow and less attentive than expected (most likely due to the busy weekend brunch rush hour). There was also a smoke alarm above our seating area that kept going off every few minutes due to having low battery, which is not the most pleasant experience either. In general, this restaurant is nestled in a very cute area of Monterrey, but i wouldn't get the Omelette Light again.
