This place is clean and service is friendly and fast. I ordered the Monday special of 13 bagels for $6.00 4 asiago, 4 cinnamon toast, 1 onion and the rest plain bagels....unfortunately, there were no more pain bagels. Ok..no biggie. I just picked up more asiago ones instead. A baker in the back then said she just had some fresh plain bagels, so I told the lady at the counter to change those other 4 asiago bagels back into plain. No problem. I paid, waited a short time.... got my bagels and left. When I got to the place I was staying... I opened up the bagel box and noticed there were only plain bagels...and no asiago ones. What? Nooooo asiago bagels? I have kids expecting to eat cheesy bagels. Can you imagine what happens when kids are expecting cheesy bagels and they only get plain? Not fun. Soooo...I call the shop and talk to a lady who originally took my order. I explained the situation and she knew exactly what happened. Simple misunderstanding. So I was told to come back to get my 4 asiago bagles. No charge. They were kind enough to understand the dire situation I was in. Kids with no cheesy bagles. In addition, you're able to use the Starbucks app here and get points for your purchases, unlike some other spots we've been where the "Starbucks" sign is apparently just an advertisement for the brand of coffee they serve there. We decided to jokingly order a cup of ice cream with ALL of the toppings. For 59 cents, we thought it would be small cups but HOLY SMOKES! They did not sell us short. Not bad...not great. We decided to go and check this place…read moreout.. When we entered the place...no one was there....no hostess...no cashier...no nothing. I wasn't sure if we were supposed to help ourselves to the froyo or what... since this was our first time experience. I was hesitant about helping ourselves to the froyo...but eventually some other people entered the store and they just grabbed a plastic container and started filling up. SoOooo we proceeded to do the same. My daughter was so excited to try all the different kinds of flavors, she ended up putting a little of everything in her plastic cup. Wedding cake, cheesecake and so on. After about 10 min...a teen girl emerged from the back and waited for the other customers to check out. We eventually made our way to the topping bar, added the toppings to our froyo...then checked out. Reminder: You pay by the pound. It gets expensive fast. After checking out...we sat at a table and tried the different flavors.. Unfortunately, all the white flavors tasted the same. The only flavors that had any taste where the fruity and chocolate ones. Kinda bummed. Oh well. Lesson learned.
