Starbucks Manchester Quay Street is the best Starbucks branch in the city centre, it is located just off Deansgate, in-between a Tesco Express and Sainsbury's Local, opposite Great Northern and 60 seconds away from Manchester Opera House!
The staff here are always friendly and have been for some time now. Carla, Arlelta, Billy, Liam, Konrad and the rest of the team always try their best to provide great service.
Beverage quality is much better than average at this store too, the Cold Brew always tastes better here for some reason, it's super creamy, fresh and lacks the bitter taste that some stores have.
They normally have a good selection of the usual products here, they can run out occasionally which is a bummer, but that's the case everywhere.
Opening hours are generally pretty good, they are usually open until 8 pm in the evening, including late opening on Sunday's when many other branches are shut.
I love the seating area here too, the seating is probably the most comfortable out of any Starbucks in the city centre, and the store looks good too, the glass front lets in the natural sunlight to light up the store, giving it a nice, relaxing atmosphere, it rarely gets overly crowded here too (I'm talking about you Mount Street!) making it one of the best places to relax in the city with a coffee.
TIP: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this branch has been shutting regularly with little notice, sadly this can't be helped as they always have to close the store if a member of staff tests positive for the virus if the store is closed there are two other stores nearby on Deansgate, and Mount Street.
5 - My favourite place to grab a coffee in the city, and one of the best Starbucks stores I've been to. They just do it differently here and always put care into their beverages. read more
