This is an extremely busy Starbucks store. Located at the main central train station for Munich it probably always has a line out the door like it did the day I was here. I stopped in bc it was my birthday and I wanted to redeem my free drink coupon. Instead, although they advertise that they do rewards, it wouldn't work and the gal behind the counter said American rewards accounts don't work for some reason... had the same issue in Paris earlier in the month. Because I had stood in line, I went ahead and ordered and paid, but it was frustrating. I will say, the staff were busy and very friendly and helpful, churning drinks out quickly and my non-fat macchiato was warm and delicious. read more

Starbucks in the Hauptbahnhof, Munich's central train station. Staff speaks English (or at least good enough for me to order a grande skinny vanilla latte). Pastries and sandwiches available in the cooler, as well as fruit juices and water. Not very many tables, but there are EU power outlets available and the wi-fi is free. It does get a little loud in here. The bass in the overhead reverberates and there might be a locomotive idling on the track right out front. read more

I am reviewing this Starbucks again and giving them a 1 star. If I could I would give them a negative. I will also be writing to their corporate office. Yes, it was that bad. I stopped in for a coffee with my flat mate before heading to the airport. Once again, line of customers was out to door (though that isn't that big of deal, typical of the Hauptbahnhof Starbucks and to be expected). However, also once again there are 6 employees standing behind the counter, two are working the cash registers and taking orders, one is making drinks. And the others are... supervising? No one was training or new. I recognised everyone in there. Again, nothing new here, but really annoying. Especially when you look at a not-too-crowded seating area with several empty tables that are covered in rubbish and empty cups and the floor is littered with more rubbish. It's ridiculous. Especially at 9:00 in the morning. But that isn't even the worst of it. As I was waiting for my drink to be made, I was watching the barista, Sadegh, prepare a drink (which turned out to be my White Chocolate mocha). The syrup and espresso were already in the cup and he added the steamed milk to it. Having filled it too full for whipped cream to be added, he proceeded to pour some of the milk from my now, even if only slightly, mixed drink back into the steaming jug! I couldn't believe my eyes. He then went on to use that steamed milk to make the next drink. I'm sorry, but is the company going to lose that much money if you take a spoon and scoop out milk and throw it away rather than using old milk from someone's drink to make the next one? I didn't want to think about what my drink might be "contaminated" with. For nearly €5 a drink, I would think that the standards would be a little higher. read more

This Starbucks is the same as all other Starbucks. The reason I give it four instead of five stars is because it is a very small space and extremely crowded because it is in a train station. Not really the fault of the store, just a fact of the system. read more

I'm happy there is a Starbucks in the hauptbahnhof. The line always looks super long, but their staff and method of serving seems to be very efficient. Even when the line is out the door I'm usually out with my latte within 5 (give or take a few) minutes. Now I just plan ahead so I can always stop! Now I just wish there was a Starbucks at Scheidplatz (or maybe it's better there isn't for my wallet). :-) read more

Pretty typical Starbucks, and it's the first time I'm trying their lemonade tea. It's actually quite good! I really enjoyed it. Apparently they don't add sugar to it! The space isn't too great though, kind of cramped and dirty; I guess they have too many train passengers coming through here. Outlets are scattered around though which is nice. There's no AC though which makes it kind of stuffy and not too comfortable. Acceptable for what it is though I guess... read more

It's dirty, crowded and the WIFI is very slow. I was in a lot of Starbucks' Coffee Shops Around the world but this is definitively the worst one. The only funny thing is that it fits perfectly with the shabby central station here in Munich. read more

Convenient location right in the train station. Loved they had the standard tourist Munich cups for us to buy. Great service, standard Starbucks coffee, and free wifi. It's loud but all part of the ambiance of being in the Munich train station sipping your coffee while waiting for the train! read more

We spent a lot of hours at the Starbucks waiting for our train. There were not many tables but eventually one will open up. The staff was nice and cleaned as much as they could. They ran out of top lids, and asked if it was ok if I didn't have one. I said was fine and they gave me a little discount. I thought that was nice. read more

Your typical Starbucks, minus the coziness. They have all the regular stuff, get it to you fast, but the place is filthy and there are hardly any places to sit. It is located alongside the tracks right on the platform so you can grab a fast coffee, but I wouldn't hang out here if there were other choices in the area. read more

Love the Starbucks that recently opened in Pasing train station! Especially the friendly, helpful worker there named Ali! He really makes me feel welcomed and at home! Love his coffees and milk designs, too! I can relax there and enjoy the atmosphere after the chaos of the city. Ali is the reason to visit Starbuck´s in Pasing! Small but efficient Starbucks on the train station area. Typical Starbucks quality, which is a plus. Small seating area...nice especially for the busy area. The staff are especially friendly and this makes a difference, especially to stressed travelers. Good location overall. read more
