I am always on the hunt for a good chai. I was satisfied with what we ordered, I would give it a 7.5 out of 10. The service was very friendly and fast after you order. Located 5 min walk from LMU university this place seems like a perfect fusion between a hip new york cafe and a vibrant cafe in florence. Food (sandwhich, cakes, humus) looks, smells and tastes delicious and the cappuccino makes you want a second one:-). Both waiters are very friendly and funny. Place is crowded by students, laptops and plug sockets (lots of them)!!:-) Wifi is free and fast. This is my favorite place to study and I've only been here during the day for that. There are a lot of students there, so you don't feel awkward with your laptop out like you would in other cafes. Pros: free WiFi, yummy drinks with free soy/almond milk substitutes. Love the matcha latte, although sometimes I feel like it a very low on the matcha. Cons: none really. It is expensive for a coffee place, so I usually go elsewhere if I just want to sit for a cuppa, and no studying is involved. Fyi: all the cakes are vegan... cool if you're vegan but sad if you're not. I had the vegan cheesecake there and it's just not the same... try their other vegan cakes though like the apfelstreudel- that one looks so juicy. read more

Nice vegan cafe to do a bit of reading or studying. The coffee was pretty good too. There are a lot of big tables for groups or just for working on laptop. The hummus sandwich I had was decent, they even grill it for you. They also have lots of vegan pastries and cakes. They look delicious, I will have to go back to try some. read more

Came and got some cakes and bakes goods to eat on my airplane trip back home. I had a latte and was just right. Sadly the nice lady charged me for two chocolate croissants but only have me one, I mean it happends. It was a nice cute quiet space. And the people were really kind. I tried a sandwich which I forgot the name of it was not bad. read more

This is the new favorite study spot for my study buddies and I. 1) The big windows let in lots of natural light - which is nice even on those ever persistent grey winter days. 2) The big wooden takes provide a nice working surface for all your things in comparison to the small round and unstable tables other cafés usually have. 3) The background music is a nice variety and perfect for concentration. 4) If you're an LMU student, you can access their WiFi here - which is such a treat and great convenience. 5) The window seats provide extra space for seating - which everyone utilizes! This brings the seating area to full density but somehow it remains feeling cozy versus packed (imagine an Apres Ski log cabin where everyone is only sipping on hot cocoa and tea). 6) The food is really yummy and everything is vegan; I have yet to try their sandwiches but really love their couscous salads and yoghurt & muesli cups. Just had a vegan apricot crumble cake last weekend - simply put: divine. 7) from what I can tell, all of the (lovely & nice) staff speaks English - which is nice if you're still learning German like me and/or are at the point in the day when you just don't want to have to speak German. ;) The only reason why I put 4 stars are some small things that I think could be improved: 1) Would love for the tea water to be a bit hotter (my tea never seems to steep enough). 2) Would love for them to provide some additional less-carb-based food options - say, a grilled veggie or salad wrap? 3) A caveat to the previous comment: would love for them to stock-up on more crossaints - they're always gone by the time I'm ready for a mid-afternoon treat. 4) I'm a bit of an environmentalist and would love if they prepared at least half of their couscous and muesli salads in glass jars instead of plastic. Plastic makes sense for take-away but I feel so wasteful whenever I eat one 2 meters from where I bought it and just throw the plastic away. (I'd feel a little better if I found-out they make an effort to recycle the plastic.) 5) Would love for them to push back the book stand that's in the middle of the café. There'd still be enough walking space on the other side and would loosen-up the seating space. These are small suggestions for a pretty great place - definitely go check it out and lose your weekend here! (Oh yes, I made that pun. No shame.) read more

This is a wonderful cafe for a tasty, healthy, and affordable lunch, plenty of desk space, and wi-fi. I'm here on a Monday afternoon and ordered a tofu BBQ sandwich which was super yummy. Nice service, cool ambiance with good music. read more
