We shared a Ham & Cheese Croissant and this sweet pastry. I also tried their Hazelnut Latte. Well, the croissant and the pastry were delish...the Latte was just O-Kay. We drove through for the sake of time and asked for a dozen mixed donuts of "favorites". The girl working the drive through was very nice. Service in the drive through was fast and friendly. From the little we could see through the drive up window, the interior was clean and colorful. A dozen specialty donuts was $13.25 before tax. We got frosted, filled and iced. All of them were tasty. This place has a lot of items that would be traditionally Filipino (like the Ube). Sometimes prep time can be a little slow, but it's usually only one person on shift when we go, and we are not in any hurry. If you are in a hurry, why stop for a dessert? It's just a small little ice cream spot that happens to also do coffees, some food items, some cakes and macarons. I'm not sure what the people complaining about ambiance were expecting. It's exactly the same ambiance as a cold stone or marble slab. As for the person complaining about not knowing if it was a vampire penguin or not, I get that. They just recently (it is currently around Thanksgiving 2024 for reference) bought acquired the Greenwood vampire penguin so they are in a transition right now regarding that. I think they are going to start having vampire penguin stuff here at this location, or maybe vampire penguin had another location and they'll be moving there... I'm not sure which. But I do understand that complaint. It should be short term.
