I decided to stop inside Starbucks in downtown Ft Meyers before my flight back home. This location is in a prime spot and does not bave drive through. The store is also really big inside so it makes it easier to keep your distance. All of the employees are wearing masks and keeping a safe distance from guests and employees. They made the drinks super fast and they tasted amazing. Typically, my refresher is always made wrong. I was excited that they made it right.

Henry enjoying his pup cup downtown Ft Myers

What a beautiful morning after Henry's training class, he did so good that we went to the nearest Starbucks to get a pup cup for him. My hubby sat outside at a table with Henry, while I went inside to place our orders. Many ladies stopped by to pet the cute little Cotie. Henry was in his element being adored by the ladies. I got the Strawberry Açaí Lemonade and a blue berry muffin, my hubby got the Bacon Guda breakfast sandwich along with. Cookie crumble Frappuccino and of course Henry got his favorite pup cup along with another cup of water. The baristas were friendly , professional and helpful. They were happy to get ice cold water for Henry to wash down his pup cup contents. All it is a small non dairy whipped cream in a tiny cup. The food was yummy and our beverage refreshingly delicious. Of course the pup cup was rated tops by Henry. I really like how welcoming Downtown locations are to leashed dogs and their parents. Next time, I'll make sure to bring Henry's blanket for him to lay upon.

Looks worse than nonprofits I've been to. Street parking, no couches, hard wooden chairs. Seating outside but too hot. Inside there was one obviously new cashier literally begging for help. Line was long, ran out of bags, place is unkept, could use a new floor, cleaning, messy shelves, not returning. No outlets, walls have pealed paint !!! Great Disappointment. Guess the locals say it's been like this forever.

Rich and his crew (especially Kathy) are amazing! They treat you like family. I only come here in the mornings during summer while my kids are at football. I am able to sit and work for a few hours, enjoy the coffee, and have a great start to the day!

their service was decent, until they don't make your drink right multiple times and get loud and rude when you ask them to remake it.

Good coffee, conveniently located, usually quick service. Except when the old stoner guy is working, then the service is ungodly slow.

The best one in town for me. I like the room in the back to sit and read. Also has plugs and access to the back patio.

Served piping hot, just how I like it, with phenomenal flavor. It's a cool little spot with a few small tables and a great vibe, but the service really made the visit special. The woman working was so friendly and especially kind to my mom. When Mom asked about the syrups after we had already paid, she added one to her drink at no charge and made such a sweet gesture out of it. Excellent coffee and people who make you feel welcome. An easy five stars. We'll definitely be back!

I'm only in town a couple times a year and I don't always make it to the downtown area. During our most recent visit, we stayed at an Airbnb nearby and I finally got to visit Shift (YAY!)... What a great local coffee shop! The inside is cute & minimal and I loved the mural spanning the space. The staff was super friendly as we perused the menu, and my decision was easy once I saw that they have a seasonal fall menu featuring house made syrups. The carrot cake one immediately caught my eye, and I ordered a carrot cake latte. My husband got the classic pumpkin spice and yep, it was like drinking fall in a cup. It's so cool to see a gem like this reppin' the hometown. Also cool that they brew Bandit Coffee (out of St. Pete) which we are big fans of. Wishing them continued success and I look forward to coming back the next time I'm in the area!

There are many factors that make a coffee shop special. For starters and I'm sure you'll agree the…read morecoffee has to be amazing. Not just okay, but the kind of coffee that gives you the boost you need to get through the day. And if you plan to stay, the space matters just as much. It should feel welcoming and comfortable, with enough room to work, meet, catch up, or simply slow down for a while. What makes the story of Chocolattés even more meaningful is where it began. In 2003, Chocolattés opened inside HealthPark Medical Center, a place where most people probably don't wish to spend their day. Yet, one cup of coffee at a time, they found a way to uplift visitors, staff, and families during some of life's more difficult moments. Over the next 12 years, Chocolattés expanded to all four major hospitals, bringing that same experience to even more people. Today, with two locations in Southwest Florida, that story has evolved into something you can enjoy outside the hospital walls. And the coffee? This is craft coffee in every sense of the word. Their beans are roasted in-house, and there is almost a science behind how they create each cup. You can tell there is intention behind what they serve. The prices are definitely on the higher end, but I think Chocolattés is one of those places where you can justify it whether you're treating yourself to a really good cup of coffee or need something a little extra to get you through a long day at work. Our go-to orders? For Ariel, it's the Shaken Gorilla Vanilla Iced Espresso with banana, caramel, and vanilla For Hailey, it's Sea Turtle Mocha Latte chocolate, caramel, hazelnut & sea salt sprinkles.
