My bestie that lives locally is always raving about Black Rock so I wanted to check it out. Plenty of parking available but it was also just before 10am on a Monday morning. No line when we walked in. Just a few tables taken by what looked to be a few guys working. The cashier was SUPER patient with us as first timers trying to figure out what to order. We settled on a French toast breve, an iced caramel blondie, and a sunrise fuel. My favorite was definitely the French toast breve...it wasn't overly sweet but was full of flavor. The caramel blondie was average. The sunrise fuel was the perfect pick-me-up for my non-coffee loving teenage son. We'll definitely stop in again the next time we're in town visiting my parents.
