Starbucks provides the sort of coffee-shop atmosphere that was missing in Dresden. I've heard locals say things like, who needs starbucks when our local corner cafe serves better coffee? then please explain why there are long queues at counter any time of the day I pass by? Why is everyone carrying the starbucks takeaway cups on the streets, it's not as if other cafes weren't serving takeaway all this while!!!
The answer is no other place serves a hazelnut latte with fat-freemilk/soymilk/ without creme, caffein-free and to go (I mean customization of course) while still giving you a fantastic coffee-- Anyway so this particular one is dresden has amazing decor, nice music, very much the kind of place u can curl up with a book or do you assignment while drinking your favourite cherry latte.
The only bad experience i've had is, on a sunday when one of the guys was taking around sample cakes for tasting, he never came to us although he passed us many times. If it was because he was worried he couldnt speak english and we wouldnt know german then I forgive him, but it shows them on very bad light and cannot escape the question of racism.
Other than that it's frist-class service and great coffee. read more
