Strange how there is a phone number listed online…read more. As a regular customer I also stop by for a coffee or tea whenever I visit Cobourg; however today I was very disappointed by the unfriendly customer service. Today I was downtown shopping in -20C weather and left my cellphone at home by accident, I did not take my vehicle and really needed to make an immediate phone call. I asked the barista to use the phone and she stated that the shop did not have a phone. I then ordered a latte and politely asked how the coffee shop receives phone calls from customers. She stated that the phone belonged to the owner. I then asked her to ask him to borrow his phone. I heard him say a flat out no (she returned with the excuse that he did not have his phone)- not only was this a blatant lie but was a great inconvenience to me. ...great way to help customers in freezing weather.

We ordered the strawberry cheesecake, which had large pieces of cake embedded within the cheese cake, served with a fruit compote, and topped with white chocolate, of course this hits the spot for your sweet cravings. We also had the New York style strawberry topped cheesecake, nice but a little eggie for me. The dreamers cookie tastes a little different from what I remember, the caramel is a little more runny than before, but the flavours were on point! Would definitely travel the two hours to get this again. We had a beautiful view of the town sitting on this elevated private area of the cafe with my girl friends. This take truly is a delight, and I hope I don't have to wait another two years to visit again!
