I've been to this Starbucks quite a few times as well as other locations around the city and country. For the most part, the drinks I get have been good and what I was expecting. I ordered this cold bre because they didn't have the white chocolate macadamia one I really wanted. The person taking orders and at the drive thru window seemed very flustered or annoyed. When I got my drink I asked to confirm this was in fact my drink because any other location I've gone to, when I order a cold brew with sweet foam, it's coffee with the sweet foam sitting on the top. Even the picture on their board doesn't match what I was given. Yes once the coffee and the cold foam mix, this is what the drink looks like. I could have gone into the store and complained about the drink and attitude of the person at drive thru but it's not worth it. Just a reminder for the employees that we may be getting a different looking drink at other locations and asking you to confirm is to make sure we have the right drink before we consume it. read more

So after finishing lunch at White Castle - before I leave - I go up to the counter and ask one of the ladies - "Is there a place around here when I get some espresso?" The lady thinks about it for a few seconds - then tells me "there is one of them fancy coffee shops right before the interstate." Wondering what I would find - I head back the way I came - lo and behold - it's a friggin' Starbucks! I laughed to myself - wondering what response I would have gotten back at White Castle had I asked for Starbucks by name. This one is a little hard to get into - there is only one entrance to the parking lot as far as I could see - and there is a lot of traffic going to the Interstate. This Sbux also has a Drive Thru - which I refuse to use. So I parked and went in. There were three young ladies working behind the counter. I ordered a Dopio Espresso Machiatto - the girl working the register - bless her heart - it was her first day and she had no idea what I had ordered. But the other two girls did not know what my drink was either - the girl who made my drink essentially made me a mini Latte. The cup was filled to the top with milk. Then the other girl came over - we had a discussion about what the drink is supposed to be - and the manager came out to assist. Meanwhile - the register locked up and they had to reboot in order to give me a receipt. The pace of life out here in Brownsburg, IN is much slower than the rat race of Washington, DC - and I was in no hurry. The folks behind the counter were so very friendly and wanted to make the drink right - which they did. They asked me where I was from and where I was going - and offered directions and advice. They laughed at me when I asked if I was going to encounter rush hour traffic heading to Champaign - because there is no rush hour! :-) Lots of interior seating at this Starbucks. If you are ever headed out across the Midwest on I-74 westbound - stop at this Starbucks! read more

Unfortunately this location has pissed my family of Starbucks regulars off. Brownsburg is the busiest Starbucks in the state--not a surprising fact if you know it well. They have taken advantage of this fact by increasing prices at this location, so all the drinks now cost more than elsewhere. I appreciate the fact that you can come here on a Sunday and not have your order murdered by the third-string crew as seems to happen everywhere else on the weekends, but come on. The service is great here; however, they always overload iced drinks with way too much ice so you get less than 1/2 of the actual drink you paid for...I paid over 6 dollars for a grande iced brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso which is supposed to be 16 oz. Oh how I usually love everything about Starbucks but last night this stop was a little off! I ordered 3 drinks both all of which they either got the drink wrong or the size.. They even asked what I ordered again and I told them and they didn't fix it! I gave up at that point! The coffee was delicious as always and I have stopped at this buck before and it was great. This is a pretty solid Starbucks w a great staff. They have never gotten my drink order wrong. The restaurant for the most part is always clean. My one huge complaint about this Starbucks is the entrance to the drive up. It tends to become a cluster Bc it has 2 ways in which clogs the exit and people will not let you pass to exit nor will they let you alternate to get into the line. Starbucks people are very possessive about their place in the line. read more

I can't believe that the one and only flavor I like is cut off of the mobile order ahead app on January 1 but the stores do still have it even though the app states "unavailable"! Also once the stores are truly out of pumpkin spice I no longer go to Starbucks until the next year when it is back in the stores. If you've ever been to any Starbucks on earth then you know what to expect here. The coffee is consistent and satisfying (except that one bad mocha I got at the Starbucks in LaGuardia, but I don't like to talk about that...) The great thing about this location is the customer service, especially in the drive-thru. They're always so friendly it leaves me wondering if the constant smell of coffee and car fumes combine to make some kind of mood enhancer. I don't branch out much beyond my tall mocha (Ok, fine. I've been to a lot of Starbucks and this one doesnt stand out except for the drive-thru service. They are fast and very efficient when you are ordering. So if you like your coffee on the go I would suggest this location. Especially if you're heading out of Brownsburg, the location is right off 267 just before you get on to I-74 so its great for commuters in the morning looking for the caffeine fix. read more

Starbucks is great. I love starbucks. Never had a problem. HOWEVER, I have been ordering the same drink for months, and today was the first day I had a negative comment from one of the baristas. (I usually order a grande cafe americano with three pumps of sugar-free caramel syrup, three packs of Splenda and double-blended with ice. The drink foams up so much it needs to be out into a venti cup, it's all the satisfaction of a frappuccino but with only 15 calories rather than 500.) As all Starbucks this one was as busy as you'd expect and without a lot of seating. The unexpected pleasure here was the service provided by Sara who took my order. While taking my order Sara was welcoming and outgoing and very pleasant to speak to. Afterwards she was helpful and enthusiastic answering my questions. As I was leaving I said to my husband, WOW, every business needs a Sara. You leave with a pleasant experience and Sara makes you feel her best friend. Not sure why NAOMI is so sad, but this is a great location. The staff here is always friendly and consistent with their beverages. I love randomly stopping in here day or night and now that they will get it right without screwing up. The inside is always clean and the restrooms stay pretty clean too. This is a great Starbucks. The staff is always friendly and like many other Starbucks they are rather efficient at what they do. I do find some inconsistency between baristas and this location is so busy in the mornings that I've gotten to the parking lot and there were no spaces available. I've had to park in the strip mall next door and walk several times. The drive thru line is also often backed up into the strip mall driveway in the mornings. I visit this location 1-2 times a week and will continue to do so. read more
