Even some of my favorites that I haven't been able to find in months! That was the first red flag - most places barely have any Geek Bars in stock, and if they do they're $25, which is pretty standard. Not here. They're $45 each here. Because they have so many flavors that most shops no longer carry, I figured that's why they cost more, but I was still feeling suspicious. I even asked the guy if they're counterfeit but of course he denied it. I guess I just really wanted them to be authentic, you know? But lo and behold, I should have trusted my gut! I wanted to try it in the shop, and when I opened the box, something felt "off" about the packaging and the smell. I would have checked the QR code on the box, but the guy took it and trashed it super quick... which could be perceived as great customer service, but it felt shady & deceptive, like he didn't want me to take a closer look. The taste was AWFUL. Like seriously bad. Straight chemicals. I've been smoking Geek Bars for several years and know what they should taste like - this ain't it. I knew it would be futile to try to argue for a refund or an exchange. Before I left, I said, "I bet you just sold me a fake Geek Bar," and the guy just shrugged. Didn't even try to deny it at that point. This place is such a rip-off! They sell **fake Geek Bars** for $45 a piece that taste like garbage. I'm guna spread the word and let all the homies know not to support these Lesson learned: if something seems too good to be true, then it most likely is.

I hadn't been in since September, and when I stopped by today, I mentioned that I was surprised to see such a wide variety of flavors still available. To my surprise, the employee working at the time, someone I've chatted with many times before, came out the gate aggressive and combative. She insisted that I should know they always have flavors because I'm a regular. I was trying to explain myself in an attempt to diffuse the situation, but was met with a growing hostility. She said, "Are you going to pick something or not." I asked her why she was being so rude to me and told her directly that she was making me feel uncomfortable. At the same time, a couple entered the store and she was treating them with basic decency, which made the situation even more confusing. When I asked for her name, she paused and smugly said "Jane." Because of that, I took a photo of her so I could reference it for the owner. At that point, the female customer slapped my phone out of my hand, said she was going to give me a beatdown, and all three of them started yelling at me to get out. I have no idea why the employee treated me like an enemy from the moment I walked in, but I do know that I will not be returning as long as she is working there.

Later that evening, I gifted one of the Geek Bars to a friend, only to have her return it to me saying it didn't work. I tested it myself and confirmed it was completely dead -- a dud. When I went back to the shop the next day to let them know, the staff told me "no refunds or replacements" and that I should've tried it before leaving. That response was disappointing on several levels. First, this was meant as a gift -- it's not realistic or appropriate to "test" something you're giving to someone else. Second, I'm new to vape products, and the employee who sold it to me never mentioned this policy, nor is there any signage in the store about needing to test items before leaving. All I wanted was a simple replacement for a product I paid for that didn't work. Instead, I was met with dismissive customer service and zero accountability. I'd recommend going to another smoke shop where the staff values customers and stands behind what they sell. Smoke 4 Less clearly lacks proper training, customer service standards, and store policies.
