I will never forget how we used them for a deposition, and the court reporter was so unprofessional. The reporter took center stage and wasted time, when it was a very difficult situation trying to get all the parties involved to agree to a time. This is a big city where there are a lot of court reporters out there, but with this company you must interview the court reporter, another factor you don't want to deal with, especially in this business.

Justin handled this entire process with professionalism. He is very down to earth and such a wonderful person, that it made a complicated matter much more doable. We needed other professionals as well -- a new trust CPA, a property tax expert, and a hard money lender -- and he referred us to all of these nice quality people, who have been incredibly helpful. This made everything easier as we were, many times when necessary, on an email thread together, working symbiotically, which simplified everything. Having worked with attorneys as a court reporter for many years and also having hired a quirky attorney prior to Justin who handled previous matters, moving on and hiring Justin on a fairly complicated matter was a delight and actually resolved some issues that couldn't seem to get resolved with the previous attorney. I always felt confident that he had my back and that "he's got this." Along with being a very professional attorney, I really like him as a person. Although most everything is coming to a close, with a few last hurdles that my husband and I will handle, I will miss talking to Justin! Lastly, how I found him was on Yelp, and what convinced me to hire Justin were all of the other wonderful reviews from his past clients. Hire Justin because you won't be disappointed! :-)

Today, the OWNER of "LA Reporters", told me herself, that I could NOT conduct my deposition AFTER I had scheduled it online, AND it had been confirmed AND I had served the deponents. Additionally, the LA Reporter website allows you to schedule a deposition on a Saturday, but LA Reporter does NOT offer deposition services on Saturday. No one called me to tell me, that when I showed up to my deposition, the office would have been closed. It was by CHANCE that when I called for something else, I found this out. When I spoke to the secretary on the phone, she apologized for the inconvenience and said she would obtain another date for me. "Ok, no problem"..."right"? Well, 5 days later, I still had not heard anything back from this secretary. I call the LA Reporter and end up speaking with the OWNER who apologizes for the secretary also not doing her job. So...the website does not function properly....the secretary does not function properly....BUT.... THEN the OWNER tells, ME the reason why they do not let IN PRO PER conduct depositions is because, "there were too many problems". Somehow, I find this highly ironic since no one at this company can do what they say they are going to do but they won't let IN PRO PER pay them money to conduct a justice driven act....and they "blame" it on problems....when these people are so confused on which end up...I am pretty sure they are the ones who are causing the "problems". LA Reporter....get your act together. Seriously. Who are you kidding?
