PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE!…read more My mother was a resident here for 3 years, and unfortunately, her experience declined drastically over time. In the beginning, some of the techs were wonderful--but as time went on, many of the good staff left, and the level of care noticeably dropped. While some office staff were kind and helpful, others were not. The director seems very sweet, but she is new and appeared unaware of what was truly going on within the facility. My mother has several disabilities, and we never expected special treatment--only that she be cared for with basic dignity and compassion, the same way you would want your own family member treated. Sadly, that was not the case. One of the biggest issues was her living situation. She was placed with a roommate who constantly screamed, yelled, and threw things throughout the night. Due to my mother's condition, she cannot tolerate that kind of environment--it causes severe distress and physical reactions. We requested for six months that she be moved or given a more suitable roommate, and despite multiple meetings with staff, we were repeatedly told nothing could be done. There were also serious concerns with cleanliness and personal care. My mother-in-law reported being served meals with dirty dishes. Personal belongings were not respected--when we moved my mother out, many of her items were missing. A dresser we provided was returned damaged, with broken handles, and lotion had been poured into the drawers. Family photos were carelessly rolled up and thrown inside. To make matters worse when she got the screaming roommate they had to move into a new rooom .they were introduced to bedbugs. My mother's belongings were then left outside for two weeks, completely unsecured--anyone could have gone through them. During that time, items went missing, including her power chair charger. There were also alarming medical concerns. At one point, my mother was incorrectly documented as having epilepsy in her chart when she does not. Privacy was another major issue. My mother-in-law was afraid to shower because staff would walk in and out of the room, having conversations with each other, offering little to no respect for her dignity. Thankfully, my mother has now been moved to a new facility and is doing much better. However, the level of carelessness, lack of communication, and disregard for patient well-being at this facility is deeply concerning. I would strongly urge anyone considering placing a loved one here to think twice
