I was a little nervous given my negative experience with Dr. Ivie, but Dr. Yau gave me the complete opposite experience! He looked at the SAME X-rays Dr. Ivie looked at (who told me there was nothing wrong) and immediately he was able to show me what was wrong, his concerns, and how he'd like to go about fixing the problem, avoiding surgery if possible. Dr. Yau not only took the time to listen to everything I had to say, but he asked me questions regarding the problem, and even had a good sense of humor! Me: (as he is starting to clean area but not where normally placed) That's not where I usually get the shot ..which always works and im able to kayak and assume normal activities the next day ".
