All the good ones either quit or were fired. I knew it could get ugly when the last director retired. She was outstanding!! I had no idea how the atmosphere would chance. My granddaughter was pulled out of there as soon as we were able to transition her somewhere else. Faith clearly has a big problem with other skin, complexion's lighter than her own, as well as Caucasians!! I am really hoping that KinderCare does the right thing and gets rid of this lady. She's not fit to be around children let alone adults.

Although a good school initially, Creme de la Creme truly started to thrive as a Learning Center…read moreunder the direction of Ms. Hudson. When Ms. Hudson assumed leadership, she provided an environment that was safe, nurturing, and inclusive for all children, which hasn't always been the case at Creme. My son immediately began to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally as a direct result of her implementation of an organized well-rounded curriculum, employment of competent, passionate educators who love all children, and holding staff to a higher level of educational excellence. Before Ms. Hudson arrived, there was excessive staff turnover, numerous incidents with staff and educators, and children were not benefiting from the advertised stem, music, art, and language classes. Ms. Hudson not only changed that, but organized learning in a structured format that focused on individual student needs and ensured children weren't overwhelmed. I also noticed that communication with parents improved under her leadership. She had several open channels of communication and any concern I expressed was addressed immediately and above satisfaction. Ms. Hudson was creating an environment that was safe for ALL children in East Cobb. I had confidence that my child would be well-cared for, safe, and that I would be treated with fairness and equity under her leadership. I do not feel as confident in the learning center now that she is gone. Hopefully they can find a new Director with the same values as Ms. Hudson. She really turned the school around in the short time she was there.

Instead of looking elsewhere, I decided to stick with Benjamin Prep, and I'm honestly glad I did. My oldest is now blossoming as he moves through the classes. I've seen so much growth in his speech, knowledge, and communication skills over time. My youngest actually started before him, and the entire school treats both of my boys like family. The staff listens, cares, and works with you. Like any new school experience, it takes time to build trust and develop a relationship with your new village--but we have found that village at Benjamin Prep.

I love the Christian foundation. The staff are very friendly, and typically informative. I've had a few hiccups here but nothing major. I love the cameras so that I can peek in on my child if and when desired. We also have access to the live school app which gives a detailed report about your child's activities throughout the day as well as their behavior. They are also performing arts based so the productions are something to look forward to as well. So far I've enjoyed my child's experience here. Kidzone has prepared my son by enforcing writing skills and reading skills. Our expectations are pretty high... They have been exceeded at Kids Zone. Most of our neighborhood prefers the school over the others due to Kidzone's Focus on academics. The infant room was what sealed the deal for us... It is the best infant room in East Cobb ( we toured them ALL) The teacher, Andrea, infant teacher, treats infants with delicate care and full attention. This was very important to us when we started at the school. The ratios at the school are below the norm, that has been the case for all the classes my children have been in. Children get additional attention here. Also, I must say that the food is awesome and all prepared from scratch at the school. The kitchen is cleaner than my own! The food options are so nutritious and my kiddos love it - even zucchini! Fresh cut fruit, muffins made from scratch, fresh veggies etc. we couldn't be happier with our experience at Kidzone.

As a working mother, you want your child to be in a safe, loving and caring environment where your child's needs are addressed and as parents your feedback is also valued - Kids Zone was that safe haven for us. My daughter was truly loved and taken care of like a family. Imagine being rushed up in the morning and sending your daughter with possibly the quickest hair do possible and at the time of picking her up, finding her hair beautifully braided (sometimes even better than I can do as a mom) by her teachers. I mean talk about being awesome!! Special shout out to my daughter's teachers - Ms. Natalie, Ms. Cassie, Ms. Sandy and Ms. Suchi for their love and care. Rather the entire staff is awesome. Huge Kudos to the Kids Zone Management Team and a big thanks for all the effort you put in towards making child care a loving experience not only for the kids but for the parents as well. I will very highly recommend Kids Zone!

I had an outside person come in to observe who witnessed teachers humiliating my 3 year old (stopping him, calling attention to the entire class, and having him make a public apology) for a minor and accidental incident. Overall, they are very inauthentic, rude, and disrespectful. The owner is a Doctor who expects a child experiencing grief and loss to make strides of change in an environment that fosters hostility, which is a completely unreasonable and unrealistic request.

Highly Recommend!!! I have had two children in this school,…read morestarting over 8 years ago. My first child to attend PV is reading at a middle school level thanks to the incredible teachers who have become like family to us. While no two children are alike, both their teachers worked through challenges with incredible patience and communication. There have been many instances over the years where teachers and administrators alike have gone above and beyond the call of duty to help, even taking a lunch box that belonged to my elementary school child to his school when I accidentally mixed them up. It is our last year at parkview and it saddens me. I will forever be grateful for the amazing academic advantage they have given both of my children and the emotional intelligence to be kind and empathetic.

My child was always safe and well looked after but also given independence that was suitable for a 5 year old. She had a decent class size of 20 and two awesome teachers. All three directors were such a joy to work with and communicate with. Breakfast, snack and lunch were provided daily (through Georgia Pre-k program) and I was very thankful she received such health meals and portions. A full menu was listed every single month to view in the lobby. She learned more than I expected and during her kindergarten assessment, the teachers were impressed. She did plenty of hands-on learning in different "centers", play time outside, daily naps (or quiet time if she couldn't nap), and she did so well with the routine. The center itself had safety protocols in place, each parent had passcodes assigned to the to enter the building, and we also used an app to communicate with all staff and teachers. I received daily photos of what my child was working on or participating in. The center was clean, bright, welcoming. They held different events throughout the year where families could attend and enjoy with the staff (I loved being able to be involved!). They also held curriculum nights to learn more about what the children were doing and learning in class. They had plenty of theme days and really kept things "fun" for the families and parents. Even "Muffins with Mom" or "breakfast on the go". Directors Lisa, Leslie and Cheryl were absolutely wonderful. All staff members I came in contact with were always loving, caring, professional. I am truly so thankful we had a great experience and that my child was always safe. We love and appreciate the Laugh and Learn team!

It has only been a month or so into the school year and I cannot say enough about this place. The teachers we have are just the best you can imagine. They care so much for the kids they have in the class. The administration is exactly the same. One day my daughter was sent home early from not feeling well and I had to call in the next day because she still didn't feel well. They new exactly who she was the second I mentioned her name! There are a lot of kids there so that was pretty impressive in my book. If you are looking to send you children to GA Pre K I highly recommend this place. If I was tortured to the brink of death to criticize this place I would have to say it is the parking. That lot is terrible but from what I hear they are stuck with it as they rent it from the shopping mall they are behind. I totally ignore it since their awesomeness overshadows that tiny issue.

After moving to this part of Atlanta recently, I was amazed at the cost/waitlist/class size of many daycares in the area. I "interviewed" several places and was starting to question whether or not I was going to find a place that I felt comfortable taking my kids to everyday. The Goddard School Austell is the same place my niece and nephew went 8 years ago and without question is the best! Mrs. Lauren was immediately warm and welcoming inviting us in to see this "family feel" preschool. She is always open for conversation, empathetic, real, transparent and a parent herself. She employs a staff that also models those qualities. If we have ever had a concern about our children (potty training, bottle weaning, tantrums etc)... they are all there to assist, work with us and ultimately foster love, patience, knowledge and kindness in our babies! They have a curriculum that is followed and emailed monthly. Daily reports are sent out over a phone app making it easy to check in on the kids each day. Healthy breakfasts and catered (healthy) lunches are provided each day, along with snacks in between. They have nice playgrounds that the kids love playing on when it is nice outside and a large open gym to run around in when it is raining or too cold to be outside, with a built in rock climbing wall, what?! Along with the day-to-day activities, they are always doing special things around the holidays for the kids/parents (Christmas program, Easter egg hunt, Valentines, etc). I honestly could go on and on about all the ways The Goddard School Austell is a phenomenal daycare... but most importantly, I don't have to question what type of care my little ones are getting. I know in my absence they are being loved, nurtured, comforted and allowed to grow, learn and explore in a warm and caring environment...every day. I will not take them anywhere else and will be very sad when they have to leave. Thank you all at Goddard Austell!

One day, I saw a teacher spray water toward my child's face with a spray bottle. I understood that spray bottles may have been used outside to help cool children off in the summer, but what I saw concerned me enough that I asked administration for a meeting to better understand the policy and whether spray bottles were ever used for anything other than cooling off. When I spoke with Lauren, I did not feel my concern was received well. The conversation focused more on my wording and whether I was accusing the school of abuse than on giving me clarity about what I had seen. I left the conversation feeling that my concern as a parent had been met defensively rather than constructively. Because of that interaction, we withdrew our child that day. I had a positive impression of some parts of Goddard overall, but based on my experience with this specific location, I would not personally recommend it.
