Beautifully redone original structure with young chef using many locally sourced provisions for his take on traditional local fare and innovation from his culinary travels. Ages his beef and cooks to desired temperature with marvelous saucing. Very pleasant experience and well worth the detour. If you rely on GPS you have not gone far enough. Pass over the river and you can't miss the spot.

They explained they didn't, but they were very happy for us to pick up some food from the deli and eat it there if we bought drinks. We had a beautiful lunch from the deli and the drinks were very nice too. Staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful, would recommend this place to everyone.

We stayed in the dog friendly seperate section so if you aren't so keen on dogs, there is a beautiful seperated restaurant next door. The food is immense, very original menu with locally sourced food and a twist on some pub classics. I would recommend the samosa starter and chicken pate.
