Reserved through the Choice Hotel Web site for the Quality Hotel, which I didn't realize was Star Inn Premium. Important to note since I didn't realize my GPS only recognized Star Inn. Also important to note the Comfort Hotel is the building next door.
Like most European rooms, it was small, but well laid out to handle our family. Normally, I would give it three stars, but there were a few things I really liked.
The sink/shower and toilet being separated so multiple things could happen at once was really helpful. Wifi worked well in the room. I didn't get the breakfast buffet, but it was priced reasonably, and kids could have eaten free. The hotel was close to a Metro line and even though you have to change to get into downtown Munich, I found it pretty easy to navigate. There was also a park nearby too.
The downside is the hotel is outside of town, so there didn't seem a lot of things to do, but there is a park nearby. The parking lot is on the other side of the Comfort Suites, which made more sense to street park because of the distance. Plus, I didn't have to pay for it on the weekend. Other than that, we were pretty happy with our stay here. . read more
