It had a great assortment of breakfast items for the buffet. The elevators are on the small side as expected in most European hotels. I consider this hotel to be a budget hotel. It is away from the city center. The hotel is in close proximity to office buildings and some residential condominiums/apartments. It is not at all accessible to any attractions. There no convenience stores close by. The best way to get to Munich's city center is to take the subway which is about a half mile walk. The hotel in general is clean and quiet. The airconditioning system was not making our room cool enough at night requiring the window to be cracked open. I do not recommend this hotel if you are looking to go to city center and see the attractions.

Ordered room service twice and the food was alright. The pizza was ok. Not a lot of flavor. The Rilano burger was a bit over cooked, but the flavors from the sauce were pretty decent. I also had breakfast 2 mornings and they had a good variety there. Lots of beverages, continental style breakfast, but some traditional German items. The rooms were nothing special. Two twins pushed together = a full bed. Nothing out of the ordinary for the EU. I wish I had taken a picture of the TV because it was teeeeeny. Let's start with the health hazard: mold. Within hours, I started experiencing symptoms--headaches, sinus pressure, and coughing--that continued not only during my stay but well into the weeks after I left. My vacation was ruined, my health was compromised, and this hotel is 100% to blame. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, I was met with *disbelief* and *defensiveness*. They denied any mold issues outright--despite the fact that a quick Google search revealed at least **12 other public reviews** complaining about the same thing! Their dismissive, rude attitude made it clear they care more about dodging accountability than addressing a serious problem that puts their guests at risk. This wasn't just a bad stay; this was an outright health violation. The fact that management would rather gaslight their guests than take responsibility is beyond reprehensible. It's abundantly clear this hotel has no interest in basic maintenance, much less ensuring guest safety. Do yourself a favor: read the other mold complaints, trust them, and *stay far, far away*. There are plenty of places to stay that won't leave you sick and frustrated. Star G is a health hazard, plain and simple, and the only thing worse than the mold was the appalling way they handled my complaint. One star is too generous.

Also important to note the Comfort Hotel is the building next door. Like most European rooms, it was small, but well laid out to handle our family. Normally, I would give it three stars, but there were a few things I really liked. The sink/shower and toilet being separated so multiple things could happen at once was really helpful. Wifi worked well in the room. I didn't get the breakfast buffet, but it was priced reasonably, and kids could have eaten free. The hotel was close to a Metro line and even though you have to change to get into downtown Munich, I found it pretty easy to navigate. There was also a park nearby too. The downside is the hotel is outside of town, so there didn't seem a lot of things to do, but there is a park nearby. The parking lot is on the other side of the Comfort Suites, which made more sense to street park because of the distance. Plus, I didn't have to pay for it on the weekend. Other than that, we were pretty happy with our stay here. .
