The farm is gorgeous but some of the people gave me a feeling of unwelcome and had less than pleasant approach to us as visitors/customers. We did the online reservations for the lavender field and talked with a gentleman once we arrived. However, we were not aware of the check-in process that was in place nor was it mentioned when I told the gentleman what we were there for. It would be helpful to have that information as part of their signage since it is a requirement. The main thing for me was how certain people talked which created a negative and unwelcome feeling in me--I honestly felt uncomfortable there after that and we didn't stay more than a half hour. One of the ladies made sure to point out that the check-in information "...was in your reservation."...unfortunately, I have still not found it in any of my information from the reservations. There are better ways of approaching people when they go outside of the processes an establishment has in place--or speaking to them in general--, especially when they do something unknowingly and without ill intent. Things to know... Parking: parking is located in a field area just off the gaveled area by the café. Check-in: guests should first check-in at the gift shop which is located in the lower level of the big red barn. Gift Shop: the lower level of the big red barn. There is lots to choose from. It does not have the best lighting so a flashlight may be needed to better view products and labels while inside on darker or overcast days. Café: a cute, well made trailer that has everything tasty and fresh made. Lavender Field: Beautiful and brimming with flowers and bees hard at work. The smell of the lavender and the sound of the bees make for a very relaxing walk through the field.

They have both indoor and outdoor seating options and a good variety of beers. We enjoyed food from Taco Bar while we were there; they seem to rotate different food trucks. They also had MacGerk's food truck so it was cool to have two different options and there are also snacks available for purchase at the bar. Staff here were very friendly. It was cool to see many people of all ages enjoying themselves on a beautiful day. There was a band while we were there and we enjoyed listening to them while we ate and drank our beers. I'd like to go back to see how their beer rotations change; they didn't have some of my favorite styles, but still was able to find one I liked! Overall, this was a cool spot and loved reading about the history of the farm and family on their website. I'll definitely return next time I'm in the area!

Tulip Days at Flinchbaugh's Orchard had been popping up all over my social media feed, and with…read more200,000 tulips in bloom, I knew I had to make it happen. My spring adventure schedule was packed, so I didn't make it out until the very last day--but I was determined to catch those blooms before they were gone! I purchased my ticket ahead of time through their website, which was quick, easy, and made me feel totally prepared for my first visit. My adventure buddy and I selected the 12:30pm time slot, and when we arrived right on time, there were a lot of cars--but everything was so well organized that parking was a breeze. It was clearly marked, easy to navigate, and because guests were arriving in staggered time slots, it never felt overwhelming. Before heading out to the fields, we popped into the farm market--and WOW! Super cute, surprisingly large, and packed with everything from baked goods to houseplants and gifts. Prices were reasonable, and it was definitely worth taking a few minutes to browse. Check-in for the tulip field was just as smooth. We walked up to the check-in hut, had our QR codes scanned, grabbed our wristbands, and were on our way within maybe two minutes. For 12:30pm on the final day of the event, I was honestly expecting a line--major kudos to Flinchbaugh's for keeping things moving so efficiently. And then... the tulip field. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Now, it was the last day, and you could tell in the front sections where tulip cutting had been allowed--some blooms were missing, some areas looked a little trampled, and things were definitely a bit worn. But here's where Flinchbaugh's really impressed me: they had clearly marked sections further back as "PHOTOS ONLY - NO CUTTING," and those areas were stunning. Full, vibrant, untouched rows of tulips that made for incredible photos and a much more immersive experience. We spent about an hour wandering through the fields, taking photos, and enjoying all the thoughtfully placed photo prop stations. Another huge win--those props were spaced out perfectly. No long lines, no crowding, no awkward waiting around. You could just move from one spot to the next and actually enjoy the experience without feeling rushed or packed in. I've visited a few flower fields over the past year, and this was by far the most organized and least chaotic. Everything--from parking to check-in to field flow--felt intentional and well thought out. I'm personally more of a "leave the flowers where they grow" kind of person, so I loved being able to simply walk, admire, and take it all in. For me, this was the perfect way to kick off my 2026 flower field adventures--and it set the bar high! At $10 for admission, this was an incredibly reasonable way to spend a few hours soaking up sunshine, enjoying beautiful blooms, and making a little springtime magic on a Saturday afternoon. I'll absolutely be back next year--just maybe a little earlier in the season to catch even more of those blooms at their peak!

When we arrived to the register, they said it was priced wrong!, it was FIVE DOLLARS! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!! THE COOKIE WAS MAD RAW! my girlfriend HAD A BITE of the cookie and she is feeling AWFUL this morning BECAUSE of the COOKIE! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

The staff was extremely friendly. The hard cider slushy was sooo good. I also enjoyed the cherry hard cider as well. I also got the apple cider doughnuts and a cup of cold cider. Both were yummy. The cider was so good that I grabbed a half gallon jug from inside the market area. We also loved seeing the animals, the photo areas, the slide, and the hayride. Walked around the market area as well and noticed so many different items: pasta sauces, jams, baked goods, etc. All looked delicious. I only took a star away for the lack of cleaning of the tables by the snack around. I saw workers picking up trash off the ground but the tables needed some love. There was at least on table there that no one sat at because it badly needed to be wiped off and it was attracting bees because of how sticky it had become. Now that I know the deal about how great Weber's is, I'll definitely be back for cider.

To my surprise, not only did they have yummy apple cider donuts but also a little goat area, pumpkin patches, and hay rides! This was the perfect fall escape from the busy Baltimore city and everybody at the farm were all so friendly. We got pumpkins for pumpkin carving, apple cider donuts, and apple cider. Though the staff told me the donuts were baked fresh that morning, I wish they were freshly warmed to order but they were still yummy nonetheless. I also got their red velvet cake which was so light and delicious! I might go back just for their red velvet cake--that's how good it was! Highly recommend. Will be back soon!
