Just a heads-up--double-check what you're buying and make sure the price reflects what it actually…read moreis. I purchased what looked like an older framed print with a signature for $40. The seller even mentioned it could be a "Monet" and implied it might be worth something. I wasn't buying it to resell--I simply loved it for my living room. But when I got home and cleaned the glass, I realized it was just a photocopy, not even a lithograph. So he basically could have just charged me for the frame $5. Rip off. I enjoy collecting unique pieces for my home, so I'm not upset about decorating with it. My concern is that some items seem to be priced or represented as though they're more valuable than they actually are. I also overheard another couple in the garage looking at some car-cleaning supplies. They picked up a small sponge that was marked at $3, and they commented that it seemed way overpriced. Personally, I thought it was something that should have been around 50 cents. I noticed the same pattern with a lot of the smaller knickknacks--items that I would normally expect to see priced at four for $1 or around $1.50 were marked at $3 to $5 each. On a positive note, I did mention my concerns to the seller, and he was receptive. He said he was willing to discuss prices, negotiate, and make corrections where appropriate, which I appreciated. So if you stop by, don't be afraid to ask about the price--it sounds like there's some flexibility.

Waited an hour 1/2 outside just to wait another hour to get into the clothing / bags section inside. Woman quoted me $40 for an unmarked T-shirt inside and I got quoted $8 for 100% silk pants outside. This sale was an absolute mess with the pricing teams not being aligned. Like price everything ahead of time or create a price RANGE based on the product. Woman inside felt so scammy just throwing out prices with no justification for the T-shirt $ other than "it's a nice looking t-shirt" lol. Will was nice but he was in jewelry-

After meeting with three different ones, I went with Neal and it turned out to be the best decision I could have made. From start to finish, everything about the way they operate impressed me: incredibly organized, highly efficient, and thoroughly prepared. Neal transformed the house into a real showroom. They created clear pathways so buyers could move around easily, set up tables with beautiful displays for smaller items like jewelry and collectibles, and made sure every piece of glassware and china was spotless and sparkling. Every single item had a neat, visible price tag, no guesswork for anyone. They sent professional email announcements with photos, dates, and exact hours to their huge mailing list (thousands of proven buyers), which brought steady crowds over the three day sale. Equally impressive was how smoothly they handled the cleanup afterward, everything that didn't sell was dealt with quickly and professionally. I've recommended Neal's service to plenty of people since then, and I do it with total confidence. If you need an estate sale done right, with zero stress and maximum results, he is the person to call.

The service and overall professionalism makes this a sought-after company for both sellers (clients) and buyers. Glad to see her business is clearly growing while less professional estate sale companies like Selling Your Estate are seemingly shrinking. My only advice is that pricing tends to be a bit at the retail level. EBay comps are not the best price comparison to match the expectation of estate sale prices. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!
