I got bills to pay, I got mouths to feed, There ain't nothing in this world for free -"Ain't No Rest for the Wicked" by Cage the Elephant Driving along I-4 through Orlando and stuck in some fabulous traffic, I got to listen to way too much great rock and roll today. The station brands itself simply as 101one WJRR and leaned into a steady mix of classic and modern rock. "Sex On Fire" by Kings of Leon "What I Got" by Sublime "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid" by The Offspring "SAVOIR" by Hollywood Undead "Enter Sandman" by Metallica "The Boys of Summer" by The Ataris "Under the Bridge" by Red Hot Chili Peppers "Everything Zen" by Bush "Basket Case" by Green Day "Black" by Pearl jam I'd have like a few more traffic reports and way less long commercial blocks but nothing's free. I live in the area so I come by whenever they have new magnets available . I also stop by every year to bring food for the food drive. The interns at the prize window are always friendly and cool people. The first time I came for the food drive the dude at the window gave me a T-shirt, I thought that was awesome. I totally wasn't expecting that. And today when I came the girl said they were out of magnets but she gave me a sticker and another awesome shirt!

As the months have gone by, the realization that the entire "House" cast is so overshadowed by him, that it downplayes his overall talent. Absolutely no chemistry with that Brian DJ and chick who is there sometimes. Very, very bad. Horrible conversations, unintelligent callers and Jonny is left holding the bag. Makes this show BAD. Sorry, but until there is a new cast working with Johnnys House, I am not continuing as a listener. Good luck Johnny- you deserve a better crew

I rather someone tell me that the contest I won wasn't available and received something else than ask me what I won and didn't solved the situation. it just a way you do things and I think my situation could've been handle different because I listen and enter and I know it's thousands of other people who listens but I don't care I am one of them

Very thorough. I use to look at the Orlando Sentinel, but they scaled back the information that I always look for when trying to find things in the community. Orlando Weekly is really out to educate people on all of the insider highlights that Orlando has to offer, and for that, I solute this publication ;)

It mostly focuses on entertainment, so if you need to know who's playing where and what the drink specials are, this is your up to date source. Of course, on the back pages you'll find lots of ads for "outcall masseuses" and phone sex lines, but it still has some interesting content. Steve Schneider is sometimes brilliant, Billy Manes is everyones favorite gay scenester, and Happytown and Council Watch can be a fascinating read. Be sure to take the restaurant reviews with a grain of salt, though; although well written, they tend to praise their advertisers. How can you complain, its published every Thursday and its FREE!

The building is just gorgeous! I'm very curious to know what's going in there though. Offices? Condos? If it's condos, then hubby and I are going to seriously go check them out because we now live only about 7 minutes from this building and we're paying way too much in rent. So, fingers crossed for condos!! Will update yet again when it's 100% complete and we know what's in there. Actually, if anyone already knows what's going in there, can you shoot me a compliment or PM? Thanks!
