Impossible to get hold of the Technology Department…read more I actually put it on speaker phone and was looped back to the main switchboard 82 times before I tried another Department. Furniture answered fairly promptly and the person there said she would check on the computer and then I immediately got cut off. Accident? Maybe it was. Then I called Copying. The phone was answered promply and professionally and I was finally put through on an internal line that did not kick me back to the main switchboard. I let that ring 52 Times !!!! and then - finally- someone picked it up and promptly HUNG UP!!! I'm sure Technology is very busy....but this is too much. The store needs to have personnel designated to answer phones and let the technologists do what they do best - technology. -Another time A bookbag I had purchased practically fell apart within 2 months of purchase. It was clearly defective but I had one hell of a time getting them to replace it. - the latest issue is with a warrenty purchased on a laptop. I was told when I purchased it they had "the best warrenty in the business" but when I went back with the warrenty card I discovered that I also needed the original sales slip or they would do nothing. Luckily I found it and returned to the store. I am waiting to find out just how good their warrenty is but I am fearful they will find some way to default on it. We'll see. So far my main issue is having to return to the store twice. It is hard to accept that a store based on technology doesn't register its own warrenties. Had I lost the receipt like many people do I would have been up the proverbial creek without a paddle. Not good enough.
