Just wanted to share my experience at this location yesterday…read more The outside of the building ONLY says Verizon. There is nothing outside to indicate that they're not Verizon and are only an authorized dealer. I walked in yesterday, all I needed to do was turn in my trade-in phone. Two guys working. One guy goes and sits at the desk with a couple who were trying to move a phone line from her parents account to the guys account. He discusses that they'll have to get a signed release from her parents at and then he can do it. He stands up, walks by me without even glancing at me, and disappears into the back. The other guy is selling a phone and is doing a really hard sell on all the accessories. The customer is taking a while trying to decide which accessories he wants. The salesman is pretty aggressive. I waited twenty-five minutes before I finally said "hey, do you know how much longer it'll be? All I have to do is hand in my trade-in." Total deer in the headlights look. "Um, did you buy that phone here?" I'm confused. "It's a Verizon phone." "Oh...we can't do that here. You have to take it to the Verizon Corporate Office." Now, really. How long did THAT take? My mistake for not realizing that a giant Verizon sign on the store does NOT mean it's a real Verizon store. The second guy never came out of the back. Maybe he went to lunch. I waited for 25 minutes for them to tell me they aren't actually Verizon. I drive over to the actual Verizon store on Green River Road and it took about 2 minutes for me to turn my phone in and have a receipt in my hand.
