So they say they value feedback, 8 yrs to change their system yet still happening. a 2 week wait list and never showed up, closest date they had was the day after persons death. Several phone calls logged with no recommendations saying to go to another hospice My loved one suffered needlessly and I still have nightmares CALL OTHER HOSPICE PLACES especially if you are in snohomish county so they can be closer

Both staff and volunteers at this hospice center are true angels. My family is eternally indebted. The Gene & Irene Wockner Hospice Center is the only freestanding hospice center in King and Snohomish counties. The beautiful Cape Cod-style facility was designed to be as home-like as possible, consistent with safety, security and excellent medical care. The Center's 15 private patient rooms include sleeping spaces for visitors, a private bath with shower, TV and a wardrobe closet. Each room opens to an outdoor patio with a view of the park-like gardens. The gardens include a lush courtyard with a waterfall, a children's play area and walking paths through the rose and alpine gardens. Families and friends can visit at any time, and children are very welcome. The comfortable family rooms throughout the Center are furnished with sofas and chairs, TV, desks, and telephones. The main family room has a children's corner designed to offer little ones comfort and a place to play. Each wing also has a full kitchen, which allows families to cook special meals if they so choose. The Center is named for Gene and Irene Wockner, whose initial support provided the resources needed to research and plan for the Center. The Wockner family's generosity continues to provide for Evergreen Hospice Services.

Unfortunately there is no ZERO ,definitely ,…read more I complain about the extreme cold weather in room number 10 ( as there was a drop in the temperature and that is due to: 1- horrible metal doors & big window on the garden ,which all staff mentioned that issue EXITED before . 2- air vent of your disgusting air condition- directly on the head of the patient . 3-poor maintenance temperature panel that you can't increase the temperature or even turn it off .. 4-cracks around the broken rubber frame around the metal door . your staff changed our room to 12 & I changed the location of the bed to avoid the air vent and I slept next to my beloved poor mother on the reclining chair but unfortunately ,it was the worse ever experience I have ever had . Even I am healthy person ,but I was freeze the whole night even I had legging and trouser and I put scarf on my mother and I. All your staff without exceptions ,confirmed that it is like this and they have been mentioning it to their management without any single respond as the building is very old . ALL PICTURES (video) AND MORE THEN THE ATTACHED ; ARE AVAIVBLE UPON REQUTES ( I felt that we aren't in USA but in NIGERIA ) Moreover ,I requested from this person Jennifer( night nurse) to put ON my mother's trouser but she completely refused as it will be difficult to change her ,this reflected the low class standards of staff's performance who supposed to help the dying persons ,even this SHE confirmed to me that unfortunately this is the reality of the building and they can't do any thing since 6 years ago ,in addition to that ,There was a manager who was fired which ascertain that there is a sort of corruption as it is an organization who collects donations and received a lot of funds . All these information affected me badly to the extend that I believe that it is the right place to kill the people faster than nature .My mother's fingers were bluish and they confirmed it is normal because she is dying while I had to put my gloves for her and covered her with more blankets . I wanted to buy on Saturday DEC 27 ,two heater to avoid this freezing condition in the room ,but they denied it because it is the week-end and there must be someone to approved it . As I felt absolutely helpless to my poor beloved mother ,I only covered & sealed the metal door and covered the window with blankets but it hardly reduced the freezing air inside the room ( as it was -3 degrees outside and both of us had to struggle with your extremely poor living condition in this Peachealth hospice Today I decided to Cc all emails on the website and I wrote YOUR president and vice president name on top ,in case there is some one who maybe caring about that issue which definitely will have a tremendous impacts on your reputations ,I won't spare any efforts to write it on website to aware others & I will keep telling people about what we had been suffering from this COMFORT place . I highly advise everyone in power to change this horrible conditions because no one knows ,maybe one of you will be in the same place sooner or later or one of your beloved parents ,son or daughter in the same place . At that moment ,there will be no chance to regret . Nothing will bring back the lose of my beloved mother ,but I want to draw your full attention to that matters to find out your development business plan to avoid this happen to someone else . with my best regards to anyone who cares about the dying people in your organization. sad broken heart person Hi Sarah Nurse Manager My dearest beloved mother passed away today around three which reflected my extreme disappointment with your hospice regarding all the points which we discussed together . Kindly view the attachments, these meant to improve the premises as I felt that the freezing conditions speed my mother's death according to the poor maintenance which had been confirmed by your staff . Hope that it will clear how we did changed room then bed location to avoid the air vents . All these reflections of my unimaginative worse experience I had in USA . even .I wrote the same review and sent emails but NO single respond to confirm that it is their trend to ignore all these negative feedback because everyone there are completely aware and they have nothing to do as staff

Anytime we'd call, it felt like we were a burden. Mom had a bad fall. I reached out and asked for a call back. She said she would call, but did not. I had to call her after waiting so long. Mom was unconscious after that fall for 3 days, makes me so infuriated. We didn't want to switch hospices because we thought it would be too much of a hassle with mom in the condition she was in and having to switch out equipment. Looking back, we should have. After the fall, I moved mom in with me, and the nurse changed to Armie. One of the good things about that hospice is her. She genuinely cared and you could feel her sincerity. Eventually, we had to move her to an adult family home. The nurse switched to Pearl, and she was the only other good thing about this company. Mom began actively transitioning, and at one point, began aspirating. The caregiver called after hours. You'd think they would call back pretty quickly, but nope, I had to call in again and demand a nurse call. I would not recommend this hospice. Families deserve compassionate and responsive care during end-of-life moments, and this company simply did not deliver that

The care givers provided excellent care as my father went through the end of his life. The care givers worked with hospice and carefully followed the health plan including becoming nurse delegated. 7 sisters provided care givers who met my specifications, including only have people who followed COVID 19 protocols. When my father was asleep, the care givers often cleaned. They let me know when we needed supplies. But what really impressed me was the level of personal care they gave. They took care of his personal hygiene. They talked with him and many developed a connection that helped when my father became disoriented. What you want as someone responsible for a loved one are people you can trust that allow you to continue to take care of your business and what you need to do to take care of your loved one. 7 Sisters made that happen for me.
