I am so disappointed in my experience with Ms. Williams. I have never felt so mischaracterized in…read moremy life. My feelings and experiences were completely invalidated. I even felt as though I was being gaslit. I had been ghosted for an appointment in a time when it was really needed with absolutely no communication from her or acknowledgement of her absence. It was completely unprofessional. I may be reaching, but I even feel as though she violated a couple of the ACA Ethical Standards that she has an oath to. How I was mischaracterized hurt. Being in the position that she is as a therapist, one has the power to pull someone from the edge or push them over. If I hadn't gone through the years of work, both in the past and present, via many different modalities, I would have been one she'd pushed over the edge. Its a small world, and I wish I would have consulted with my personal contact before choosing to go to her. Everyone one knows everyone.
