I obtained a property space at a tax sale in 2019. This was my first experience owning a property and I was truly in need of guidance on the process. I contacted Emmett McCarthy for help with obtaining the deed. He and his team worked diligently to make sure I had the proper documents and followed all of the legal procedures I was not familiar with. **BEWARE** The firm Flamm Teidbloom Stanko and specifically Matthew Flamm were retained to represent our business regarding a contract dispute. Mr. Flamm blatantly failed to file an answer to the complaint which led to a 125k default judgement being entered against our company (and the founder which was named personally). When confronted Mr. Flamm went one step further and committed fraud by inflating billing by over 300%. Subsequently the firm has chained their name to Stanko McCarthy Law Group (SMLG). The firm has refused to work through a settlement or address the fraudulent billing so we are moving forward with action to ensure nobody else will fall victim to this firm. read more
