Took my brand new vehicle in to this location twice. First time was for undercoating. To keep the…read more'warranty' in effect they wanted me to pay a $50 annual fee to inspect the undercoating for any chips or spots where the sealant would have come off. Basically after 4 years of annual inspections I would be paying for another complete undercoating job. When I asked the owner why I had to pay for something that should be covered he started giving me a sales pitch like I was a 16 year old kid with his first car and knowing nothing about nothing. He became argumentative and defensive of their 'warranty' conditions. Second time was for a tiny stone chip repair. There was no crack, only a minor chip. After the 'technician' got finished with the repair it was far worse with not only a large crack filled (that he caused) but now I have about a half-dollar sized area of the windshield that looks like it's concave and nearly impossible to see through. I've had two other accredited glass repair shops as well as three car guys that know vehicles inside and out and each one of them said that the 'technician' did a hack job on the windshield. I will NEVER, and I repeat, NEVER bring my vehicle there again. I will now have to replace the windshield due to their ineptness and lack of skill in repairing auto glass.

Since I decided to go through my insurance company, they were able to connect with the insurance company and take care of the paper work. They kept me up to date during the entire process, texting or calling me with updates, from the moment I made the claim with my insurance company to the day of installation of the windshield. They let me know what the insurance company would cover, when they placed the order and arrival of the windshield. They came the same day as the delivery of the windshield to install it. They entire process took 3 days. I was so pleased at how professional, clean and meticulous they were with everything. I would highly recommend this company for windshield repairs to all of my family and friends.

The gentleman who worked at the customer service desk was extremely pleasant and helpful. He explained the entire process clearly with all my pricing options. He worked diligently to find a drop-off time that would accommodate my busy work schedule. He sent me text messages to update me on the status of my repair and arranged things so I could pick up my truck after hours. My new windshield looks great and the workers were careful to keep my truck nice and clean. Complaint- There isn't a convenient method to get ahold of an actual human to answer quick questions. I had to make my initial appointment online and mistakenly ordered the wrong window. I didn't realize this until I arrived at my appointment. This mishap cost me an extra day because they didn't have the window I needed in stock. This mistake would have been avoided if I was able to make my appointment with a human.

Needless to say this isn't how businesses is conducted for windshield repair. I asked to speak to the manager on duty (Jim) and he was useless as well and he thought having poor customer service was a good idea. I will NEVER use this company and I hope anyone that reads this review doesn't give this company their business. Let me also add poor customer service has consequences. I wonder if the Safelite Corporation knew what kind of employees work for them. Looking at the reviews something needs to change.
