The receptionist told me that the doctor had already left. And I would have to set a new appointment. I was told my appointment was at 3 and they only wait 15 minutes. But he was already gone at 3:10. now days doctors want to charge you if you cancel without 48 notice. but they have no problem cancelling on you or my favorite. They tell you to get there 15 minutes early so you can wait in the waiting area for 20 minutes and then put you in a room and let you wait another twenty minutes. The receptionist had no idea who would refund me. since I did not receive 48!hours notice.

Today was an MRI of both my knees after an injury. I arrived early and checked in. Within five minutes I was called to the registration area and since I had answered all the questions online before my visit I was done within about five more minutes. I was then taken back into the MRI area within about 10 minutes and had the MRIs done. The text there were great and explained everything as we moved along. I was done and out before my actual scheduled appointment time. I also had a report in my email within three hours of leaving. WOW

They direct you to a portal with files that don't upload and are unreadable. If you call to complain and ask to speak to anyone in charge they say nobody but clerical personnel are there that day. The whole point is to get you to come in for unnecessary appointments to tell you everything is fine, or you have negative results. You are supposed to have a legal right to your test results, apparently not here.

It is a walk-in facility, so depending on demand, you may have to wait a while. But it's much better than, say, going to Quest and waiting without an appointment. And if you think about it, you wouldn't want them to cut your appointment time short and not give you the care that you deserve. So you might have to wait a little while.
