For some reason, Australia has a lot of camera stores. I stopped into Stallard's a couple times during my visit to Launceston, to look over various models and combinations. I find that even with a good iphone, there's still nothing better than an even better camera, like my Lumix FZ300. Store staff were there when I had a question, including ones about their used camera selections. This handsome store was nicely laid out I struggled over a cheap waterproof camera, and only decided against it at the last minute. One interesting observation during one visit was the number of families with babies setting up picture taking sessions. read more
