There is a creche onsite, and the centre is also host to the health visitor run baby clinic every Friday between 9:30 and 11:30. They run lots of different sessions for parents and their children, such as baby massage, breast feeding, dads and toddlers group, baby group, toddlers group, weaning parties. The staff are always helpful and knowledgeable, and if they can't help you immediately they go out of their way to do so. The cafe is also very cheap in my opinion, and i am always happy to feed my children there as it is not junk. They also make baby purees.

My son is in nursery year, which is outstanding - this enthusiasm of the nursery teacher is like that of no other I've met, and every parent there would, I'm 100% sure, sing their praises. Friends with older children also sing praises of the school. The facilities are not extravagant but quite adequate, and being a relatively affluent area, quite a lot of cash comes from fund raising activities. The parking at the school is a bit of a nightmare, but I think everybody just about manages and there are a few different places you can go. Well worth considering if you're on the east side of Doncaster - especially for nursery, I can't recommend that highly enough.

The Nursery recently expanded their nursery care due to increased demand for childcare from their Abbey Place centre in the town. As a Privately run day nursery you can choose to place your child for a full day or half day. I used the nursery for my youngest child for a few months before she started the school nursery and found that the atmosphere within the nursery was very friendly, with professionally qualified staff. The nursery takes places for babies up to preschool age. For my daughter at two I found there were a lot of constructive activities and lots of free time too. I like the way my daughter could draw or write with the aid of staff or just wonder around from one activity to another. There is a play out area to play too.Gonzukas provides pre-school and after school care, from 8am until 6pm. As part of the care you can have your child taken and collected from school.

The Main centre has a library, several meeting rooms and a computer suite which are great for…read moremeetings or even classes. It is wheelchair friendly. There is also a crèche inside and an arts and productions team. The staff are top notch and really friendly. For parking use one of either car parks round the back as the bays on the front are for residents and you will get a ticket. At the back of the centre is a nursery for the infants with a decent sized playing area and plenty of things to do inside such as painting. There is another building which is the cafe. Serves home made meals and has daily specials which are really filling, especially the deserts!
