Since my adult child was on probation for their first dui, which had been reduced to reckless driving, I knew immediately that anything coming from the sheriff's office couldn't be good, and true to form it wasn't! It was a notice dated April 28th, 2015 that my child was in violation of their probation and that a warrant dated March 25th, 2015, over 30 days before the actual letter was mailed, had been issued. Not once during this time did their probation officer ever call to have them come in and retest, or even give them a notice that a warrant had been issued. Immediately my child called Mr. Holloway, who had successfully defended them on their first ever dui case, (having gotten it successfully reduced to reckless driving) and they told Mr. Holloway about their current problem. Mr. Holloway immediately called their probation officer and she informed him that his client's urine had trace amounts of alcohol in it and that they were in violation of their probation. Mr. Holloway then called my child and proceeded to tell them what the violation was; since they had no clue, due to the fact that the letter didn't specify, nor did the probation officer ever contact them prior to issuing the warrant to even tell them. Mr. Holloway then advised them to go and turn themself in immediately, which is what they did on May 5th, 2015. During the time my child was in the county jail Mr. Holloway did what he does best, and he went to work on the case. Within a few hours of my child turning themself in, I received a call from Mr. Holloway's very competent assistant, Lea. She graciously informed me that Mr. Holloway had managed to get my child's case on the judge's calendar for May 7th! This is simply unheard of!!! Now on the day of court, May 7th, the judge was sentencing people back to back. Apparently this was the day for hearing probation violators! I couldn't stomach it so I left the courtroom to get some air, because I was certain my child was about to have to serve time for their violation. Before I could reenter the courtroom Mr. Holloway was out in the hallway walking toward me. I couldn't determine at all by the look on his face what the outcome was, so I simply sat down and prayed. Mr. Holloway then told me that my child was free and I could pick them up in a few hours!!! He also told me that there were no changes in their liberal probation and that everything would remain the same. Once again, Mr. Holloway came through for us. While Mr. Holloway is certainly not the cheapest, trust me he is certainly the best, and he is worth every dime, because the cost to fight for freedom, well let's just say it ain't free!

The Holloway Law group was excellent when addressing my case. Upon researching Mr. Holloway, I saw…read morethat he was an experienced professional with more than 20 years, and that showed through his tact and wit when handling my case. His consistent communication and his paralegal team efficiently notified me of what was going on every step of the way. Heather Hansard (the paralegal I worked closely with) was professional, kind, expedient, and more than willing to explain each part of the process and connect me with Mr. Holloway whenever necessary being that I had not experienced litigation before. In looking for representation, I felt seldom treated like a human and more so like a "problem child" or CRIMINAL who was asking for too much. Mind you I had never been in any legal trouble before! My case seemed like a far cry for help, and my wants were high, but my expectations were low, considering the odds stacked against my wants, but after over a year and a commitment to all of Mr. Holloway's suggestions, we managed to get the exact result I was looking for. I managed to turn a felony for possession of a level two uncontrolled substance, a DUI and four misdemeanor charges for disobeying a traffic control device, having no insurance, having no registration, and driving on the wrong side of the roa... into a SINGLE reckless driving ticket and keep my license. YES! HE'S GREAT AT WHAT HE DOES!! He himself will be just as honest as I am when stating that you can only be prepared for the best option available, and that may not be what you want, but he will diligently listen to you about your concerns and use his expertise to get you as close in the ballpark as he can, and in my case, that ballpark just happened to be my exact target objective. Again, he will be honest in telling you he can't guarantee you any specific result, but he surely will fight to get you the very best, communicate well, work diligently, and provide the best service he knows how. He prepared me to be realistic, but fought for me like he HIMSELF was hopeful. I explained to him that losing my license would be sacrificing my career and he met me where I was at with that fight and I will be forever grateful. But please do keep in mind. Every variable in every situation is subject to being different and also note that I stated I hadn't been in any legal trouble before which helped and worked to my advantage as well as the time I spent superseding what was asked of me and I also have no history of substance abuse. So, there will be a lot to consider from your personal perspective, but my testimony stands very still and strong that you cannot go wrong with Mr. Holloway and his staff.

I am extremely glad that I chose her because my daughter is finally living with me. We were both extremely grateful that she was willing to take our case with all of these child support and custodial issues. Before my daughter and I became her clients, we thought we had a very good and strong representation from a very big, powerful, and reputable law firm that was pretty well known in the area. However, after thousands of dollars and 12 months of waiting, we found ourselves very disappointed. I was on a hunt for an exceptional lawyer to move our case forward yet again. That exceptional lawyer we were looking for turned out to be Ms. Cherry. She is a superb lawyer with a superb team. Ms. Cherry and her team (Ms. McKenzie and Ms. Hutchinson) are always on top of everything. They moved our case forward at the speed of light while keeping us up to date with what's going on and making sure we understand every step. Most importantly, they have an outstanding reputation and relationships in the law community, including the judges. After 5 and a half months with her team my daughter is not only living with me, but she is also in a new and better school district. She had finally returned to the happy and worry free kid that she used to be. I am telling you as a parent: no amount of money can buy that feeling and happiness of seeing your child light up with joy. I could also feel that Ms. Cherry was not in it for the money like many other lawyers. I am currently in a very tough financial situation, I am a recipient of SSDI, and her team knows that. They are very conscious of your financial capabilities and I am sure I was underpaying her team for the results we were getting. One thing Ms. Cherry told me that I will never forget is that I did not need a male attorney, but a good attorney, and that is so true. If you are looking for a professional, focused, knowledgeable, confident, experience, caring and friendly lawyer, Ms. Cherry is an obvious choice. And believe me when I say that because I have had my share of different attorneys. With that being said, I would like to say thank you to Ms. Cherry and her wonderful team. My daughter and I will always be grateful for everything you have done for us.

SCAM - THE WORST ATTORNEY I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED!…read more My husband was arrested in July 2024, and after researching attorneys, we came across Bryan Howard and Alejandro Arca. Their reviews seemed promising, so we decided to retain them for my husband's case in Douglas County. I initially spoke with Bryan Howard, who had a pleasant tone and appeared to care about the case. He quoted me $6,000 for their legal services. After making the payment, Alejandro Arca visited my husband in jail to have him sign the contract. Once the contract was signed and the payment was received, all communication stopped. I called multiple times, left messages with the receptionist, sent messages through their portal, and emailed them--but received no response. The only time I managed to get in touch with Mr. Arca was when he accidentally called me while trying to reach someone else. I used that opportunity to express my concerns, but when I later called the same number as my husband's court date approached, I was told not to contact him on his cell phone unless it was an emergency. My husband had repeatedly requested a meeting with his attorney before his bond hearing, yet no one ever showed up or even called back. Realizing that my husband was not going to get the representation he needed, I had to hire another attorney. This new attorney provided me with a direct contact number immediately and worked tirelessly the night before the hearing to ensure my husband was properly represented--something Howard and Arca failed to do. Do not waste your time or money on this law office. They took $6,000 and disappeared. I would not trust them to represent anyone. I see I received a response on here from Howard, after serveral office visits, emails and unreturned phone calls the same response received after he received 6,009 can. Howard whom I was told had to issue the refund but has yet made any attempt to refund me for the work that was not done in all fairness we should only have been charged for the paperwork your office filed for a bond hearing your office did nothingj else after that and all of our calls went unanswered. we would like an itemized invoice for the work you completed and a refund for what you did not do.
