Again, he will be honest in telling you he can't guarantee you any specific result, but he surely will fight to get you the very best, communicate well, work diligently, and provide the best service he knows how. He prepared me to be realistic, but fought for me like he HIMSELF was hopeful. I explained to him that losing my license would be sacrificing my career and he met me where I was at with that fight and I will be forever grateful. But please do keep in mind. Every variable in every situation is subject to being different and also note that I stated I hadn't been in any legal trouble before which helped and worked to my advantage as well as the time I spent superseding what was asked of me and I also have no history of substance abuse. Their reviews seemed promising, so we decided to retain them for my husband's case in Douglas County. I initially spoke with Bryan Howard, who had a pleasant tone and appeared to care about the case. He quoted me $6,000 for their legal services. After making the payment, Alejandro Arca visited my husband in jail to have him sign the contract. Once the contract was signed and the payment was received, all communication stopped. I called multiple times, left messages with the receptionist, sent messages through their portal, and emailed them--but received no response. The only time I managed to get in touch with Mr. Arca was when he accidentally called me while trying to reach someone else. I used that opportunity to express my concerns, but when I later called the same number as my husband's court date approached, I was told not to contact him on his cell phone unless it was an emergency. My husband had repeatedly requested a meeting with his attorney before his bond hearing, yet no one ever showed up or even called back. Realizing that my husband was not going to get the representation he needed, I had to hire another attorney. This new attorney provided me with a direct contact number immediately and worked tirelessly the night before the hearing to ensure my husband was properly represented--something Howard and Arca failed to do. Do not waste your time or money on this law office. They took $6,000 and disappeared. I would not trust them to represent anyone. I see I received a response on here from Howard, after serveral office visits, emails and unreturned phone calls the same response received after he received 6,009 can. Howard whom I was told had to issue the refund but has yet made any attempt to refund me for the work that was not done in all fairness we should only have been charged for the paperwork your office filed for a bond hearing your office did nothingj else after that and all of our calls went unanswered. we would like an itemized invoice for the work you completed and a refund for what you did not do.
