It was absolutely amazing and I highly reccommend it. There are displays for most the car companies that the VW group owes. Some are far better than others. There is a Bugatti Veryon is one building that was sweet. There is a car museum that has famous cars from the 1880s to the race cars of today! I was fascinated. One the other side of the property are two car towers and a dealership. The way that works is you order your VW from them and come get it in a few days, direct from the factory! Your new car is stored in the towers until you arrive to get it. There is a tour boat that runs from the entrace of the museum to the "guest" entrance of the factory. From there they walk you through a few parts of the mostly automated factory and give you explainations of what you are seeing. I ended up buying a few accessories for my VW solely because now I can say that the part came directy from the factory!
The ICE and local trains stop directly opposite of the factory and cant be a far walk. I first saw this while I was on the train to Braunschwieg, the next ICE stop away from Berlin. When I arrived I asked my friend to if we could go there.
Highly reccommend if you are into VWs!!
