A lot of different options from fish, pasta, meat, etc. For starter, they gave us bread with a mayo sauce that was good. We had a starter and thought we ordered tomatoes/cheese on bread. Husband had the scampi arabiata -- several big shrimp, it has a nice red sauce (slightly spicy) and came with a salad, and roasted rosemary potatoes (pretty good). I had the fried chicken liver salad. There was really no batter but it had some kind of marinade that was good. Ate it up! 2 kids had a margherita pizza each. They ate most of it. 4 options on kids menu! Overall meal was 68 Euros. No credit card. Staff was friendly, tried to use English. We had to wave her down a few times for the bill. Cafe Bohne is a perfect place for a cup of your favorite caffeinated beverage (all the standard espresso-based drinks are available plus filter coffee, hot chocolate and tea) plus an excellent slice of home-made cake. The seating area is rather small, but is helped by some tables and chairs in front of the building. The place is usually packed with people during weekends, and it also open on Sundays as of late. My only complaint is -- and it breaks my heart to say this, since I really like the place -- that the coffee does not really meet the expectations set by the nice surroundings and the impressive espresso machine. The espressos are somewhat bitter but still lacking in flavor. Fortunately they are served with a glass of water. Most customers seem to prefer their sugar with coffee and cream, so they probably don' t care.
