I don't know if my issues at Saputo Stadium (Stade Saputo) are more Montreal Impact- or Saputo Stadium-related. But, then again, it's a soccer stadium owned by the Impact, so there you go. Let's just say the experience was so annoying I gave myself a month+ cooling-off period before I wrote the review. If you're a fan of a visiting team, you're going to find a fair bit of annoyance getting in to Saputo. First of all, if you didn't download the Montreal Impact app (even if you have printed online tickets), you'll not be able to enter through the convenient side entrances like the others. You'll have to go around to the front, go to the will-call booth, wait in that line, pick up actual physical tickets, and then wait in the big line in front. Not that the physical tickets really mattered, as we we got to our seats and other people had tickets for THE EXACT SAME SEATS. I s**t you not, the exact same seats. I've never had this happen before. While this would have been a problem back home at a Seattle Sounders match -- or if I was down the road at Bell Centre for a Montreal Canadiens hockey game -- the lack of French-Canadian enthusiasm for soccer left plenty of open seats. The seats are not overly comfortable, but not any different than many other soccer stadiums. The bathrooms are relatively clean. The food options are so-so, but the beer options are pretty good. Logistically, the stadium doesn't show stoppage time on the big board. Not quite sure if this was a strategy as the home team had a lead going into ST, but there's that. Sight lines are fine. I recommend getting a seat near the center line because anything else makes one side relatively microscopic. A great sunset ... I know this is more Mother Nature's doing, but it was quite the visual. Location is on the outskirts of town, but worked perfectly for us as we were at Hotel Universel Montréal ... we could actually see in the stadium from our room. If staying in the heart of the city, it'll take you around 30-40 minutes by subway, probably the same taking the 8 km of streets to get there during game traffic. Let's face it: The product on the field does a lot to distract from any stadium weaknesses. This is definitely the case for Saputo Stadium. Au mieux, un stade médiocre!

I've only been here once for a special meet the team event. I thought the stadium was great, I got to go and walk around. All the players were very nice. I hope to watch a match here soon.

    Rainy stadium

Great venue, easy to navigate and doesn't feel claustrophobic even with over 19000 people walking around. They have many food selections from dagwoods subs to hot dogs, Tim Hortons. Personally o suggest you try the porchetta stand... It's delicious. I think it's called pain et port I could be wrong. It's a beautiful stadium, only problem are the seats... Man are they ever uncomfortable after 60 plus min sitting down.

Parc Olympique was the site of the 1976 summer Olympics. These are the Olympic games that propelled Nadia Comaneci to stardom. The venue is known for it's tower which is set at 45 degrees and affords a view of the Montreal skyline. It is 165 meters high. Presently it is closed because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Note that when admission is possible it is closed on Mondays. The cost to climb the tower was $15 and if you add the cost of stadium parking $20 people hesitate to visit. Days when traffic is light you will be able to find street parking close by. Besides climbing the tower you can see the the Olympic size swimming pool which is still used by the Olympic diving and swimming team.. The 5 five rings of the Olympics are still up including the medal stand. The Biodome which replicates the four ecosystems found in the United States requires a separate admission cost. The Planetarium is adjacent to dome is worth seeing. Across the street, Maisonneuve Park is home to the Montreal Botanical Garden and Insectarium. Saputo soccer Stadium can be found here as well. The bottom line is that I would not recommend Parc Olympique for everyone but it was interesting to see for me since it is only a 10 minute drive from downtown Montreal and is a unique dome.

Cons : - Hazardous stairs with NO RAMPS. Going down these stairs in winter would be insanely dangerous. A few people slipped and that's simply due to clumsiness or booze. Imagine when ice/snow is all over the place! - The food was bad and ridiculously expensive. I had free hot dogs with my ticket and you get the most generic steamies with buns that BROKE APART when you opened them!!!? Concession prices beat the Bell Center! SERIOUSLY, HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE??? My friend ordered a poutine and a beer and set him back $28. - I thought the seating for the Bell center was uncomfortable! You literally sit in tiny spaces on a long bench with no leg room. God forbid someone tall wants to sit somewhere comfortable! What if someone slightly overweight sits beside you? It was so uncomfortable and it was all I can think of! My butt still hurts after 24 hours! My back was in pain due to lack of back support. Worse than sitting in economy on a Air Transat flight! - Nothing against the stadium but CFL games are SO LONG. Why are there so many commercial breaks? Does this game really need to be 3+ hours long? You play for 1 hour, why am I here for 2 more? You want people to get bored and hungry and pay the 300% mark-ups I bet. Thankfully the walk down the hill when I left early helped leaving this underwhelming experience. I wonder how safe it is during the winter...

Adam and I arrived at around 2:30pm to enjoy the festivities and practices before our 6pm game. I got so much free swag it's insane. Shampoo, pop socket, pictures, food, keychain of a tennis ball, a little radio to listen to the audio commentary during my game, and drinks. The only thing I paid for was my lanyard to put my tickets in (it was $10! but I plan on using it next year too). There are so many booths with fun info, games, prized, screens, air conditioning, lounging areas, and so much more. During the afternoon games (1pm) it empties out and there are more seating options and the lines for everything are much shorter which is a plus. Food wise, I got the regular poutine to eat during the match and it was ok. It was a bit expensive but that's to be expected. Water is insanely expensive ($3.50). I didn't realize you could bring an empty water bottle to fill up but you can so keep that in mind. The only water fountains available are near the bathrooms though so I think they could improve on that. Games last pretty long if you stay for doubles. Lots of people leave but I loved seeing the differences in gameplay. Keep in mind if you are late to a game or late coming back from a break, they won't let you in until next break. People coming in and out and sitting down makes a lot of noise. I really loved my time here and I already can't wait for next year!

The price is still very decent coming to about 15$ a month if you're a student at HEC, Poly or UdeM and you buy the 1 year subscription. They added a new multi room where TRX courses are taught and there's a bunch of cross fit equipment. Usually, the room is closed, but at certain times, those who are the gym membership have access to that room and can take advantage of the different equipment. The gym is fairly clean and even thought it says to wipe the machines, people don't seem to do it very often. You have to have a towel to get in. That's super important or they will deny you entry. Usually, it's pretty busy after 4pm on the weekdays. Before that and all day during the weekends, there's not too many people. I think the biggest upside to the CEPSUM gym is the proximity to the schools and the student discount. It's definitely not worth it if you don't live close and you're not a student/employee of one of the aforementioned establishments.

I would even describe this place as a god send for the sports athletes.
